The rest of our vacation had passed by fairly quickly, and I was glad to say that there were no problems involving...well, you know. Ross and I were able to enjoy the rest of our Hawaiian vacation, which included a lot of romantic walks on the beach. Because of my loving boyfriend, I was able to temporarily forget about all my worries.
But now that we were going home, I was afraid that worrying was all I was going to do.
I was going to try my hardest to not let him cross my mind, but sometimes it was involuntary. My nightmares had lessened, but nothing could stop my day dreaming. It was as if I was hallucinating his form everywhere I went, but questioning myself on if it was really him or not.
The simple version? I thought I was losing my mind.
"Home sweet home." Ross announced, grinning cheekily as we walked off the airplane. I pouted childishly, causing him to chuckle and tap my nose. "Come on, you know you miss everyone."
I nodded in agreement. "I do, but I really didn't want to leave that hotel."
"Especially after last night, huh?" He wiggled his eyebrows, and I playfully swatted his chest before pecking his lips.
We were told that Mark and Stormie would be picking us up, so once we grabbed our luggage from baggage claim, we went to go find them. And the moment we spotted them, smiles appeared on our faces. We hurried towards them, enveloping the two in tight hugs. I was surprised to find myself tearing up at this small reunion.
"I want to hear how Hawaii was the second we get home." Stormie ordered as we walked out of the airport.
And we did.
As soon as we got home and greeted everyone else, we told them about our vacation. We showed them all the pictures we took, a lot of them of the hotel because we were so in love with it. At one point during our trip, we arranged a swim with dolphins, so we had some pictures of that as well. My wallpaper was currently a picture of Ross kissing a dolphin. It was so fucking adorable.
But after filling everyone in on our vacation, we knew we had to tell them what else occurred. As much as I didn't want to mention him in this moment, I had to. They deserved to know everything that happened, even if it was bad. And I would want them to be with me when we went to the police station.
My attachment to this family was so great, that I wouldn't be able to go alone.
"There's, uh, something we need to tell you." Ross glanced at me nervously, and I just nodded.
"Please don't tell me you got Scarlett pregnant." Stormie begged.
My eyes widened to the size of saucers, and we both shook our heads vigorously. "No, no, definitely not!" The relief on their faces was visible, but mine was still shown with shock. "No, it's about Spencer." As his name left Ross' lips, I cringed. He reached into his bag and pulled out the envelope that contained the pictures. He handed it to his parents, allowing them to see what was inside.
I could barely hold back the tears as I watched them examine the pictures. Collective gasps filled the room, followed by words of shock and disbelief. Stormie and Rydel began to shed tears, while the rest of the boys just had a look of anger and fear sketched on their faces.
"We need to bring these to the police." Ross informed them quietly. "It's obvious that he followed us to Hawaii, but we have no clue where he is now."
And that was what scared me the most.

"There will be a police officer outside your home twenty four-seven, and you must inform them if you are ever going out." Sergeant Simms leaned forward and laced his fingers together. "I know you're scared, but I can assure you that we will catch him. Mr. Rowland will suffer the consequences of his actions."
