Chapter twenty-four

After a month of ups and downs in Jimin's mental health Yoongi was ready for this shit to end. Jimin was now set up with a new therapist and he was finally doing ok. He took the opportunity to get into the office and Jimin took a shift from Joe and went to the cafe. He thought it was a good idea.

5:30 am
The rapidly annoying beeping of the alarm made Jimin and Yoongi shift into the bed. Finally, Jimin was the person to turn off the putrid sound.

" babe why is the alarm on."

" I wanted to work. I needed to get out of this apartment and figured working and baking would be fun so I took Joe's shift. 6-5. I think I will have Tae take some of the slow 3-5 alone if it's too much. But I want to be busy. " Yoongi understood but wanted more of a heads up

" Next time you wanna pick up a shift, tell me the night before to kick you out. 5:30 fuck that" Yoongi groaned and rolled over. Jimin laughed a little when he started work.

As Jimin opened the back door to the kitchen he could hear screaming

" Jungkook, I don't care if what you're asking is impossible. Your asking me to not care about you and to just throw this relationship away and that is something I am not willing to do so shut the fuck up and go home" Taehyung screamed

"Taehyung you're overreacting. I am just asking for you to stop hovering over everything I am doing. I just want a boyfriend, not a helicopter parent " Jungkook screamed Jimin's eyes widened at his tone and how he was so angry. He's never heard Jungkook sound like this.

"I'm sorry if I got worried when you went to the bar with four people I didn't know. You got blackout drunk and wouldn't call me back. The fucking bartender had to call me cuz you couldn't move and everyone who was there with you left you behind. So if I am being a helicopter boyfriend then maybe you need a more relaxed boyfriend. Goodbye Jungkook, find a different man that is ok with you in that situation alone. " Taehyung shouted and almost ran Jinim over at the door.

"Jimin... w-what are you doing here?" Taehyung stumbled. He was expecting a two-hour late joe and not an on-time Jimin at the door.

" Sorry I took Joe's shift for today. I needed some time away from the apartment when Yoongi went to work. "Jimin felt like he was not welcome in the cafe that used to feel like a second home

" No, I am sorry I didn't expect you to be here. Um sorry for the shouting. I a Jungkook had-"

"Taehyung- oh jimin I didn't know you were here " Jungkook stopped looking at Tae with regret and an odd stupidity on his face

"Hi,'' Jimin said, feeling like a stranger that walked into the wrong home. The last time Tae and jimin talked they were in the honeymoon phase of the relationship. Jimin didn't see this fight coming for a while...

" Um Taehyung, let's talk about this at home. I am leaving, ''Jungkook begged not wanting to fight in front of their friends.

" You don't need to tell me your plans. Apparently, I am your helicopter boyfriend. Goodbye Jungkook, " Taehyung said with a hurt and angry tone. Jimin cringed at the harshness.

Jungkook walked out with a defeated sigh.

"What happened here? Last time I talked to you. Jungkook and you were like the perfect couple and were so in love.'' Jimin said, walking past Taehyung to start on the harder pastries. He grabbed flour and butter spices and other things for the pastry. All while Taehyung filled Jimin in on the juicy happening at the jeon/Kim house.

Apparently, they moved in together and have had three fights over two months. Life didn't stop when Jimins did. He wallowed at home getting over the trial and Taehyung moved forward. So did the cafe. The one place he thought would be in complete shambles was working better than before.
