Y/N'S POV

It was raining. I got up today hoping to explore the grounds but it was pouring outside. So we stayed inside. We were currently playing a spelling game. Susan was reading words from a book and we had to try and spell them. It was currently Peters turn.

Susan: Gastrovascular. Come on Peter Gastrovascular.

Peter: Is it latin?

Susan/Y/N: Yes.

We looked at eachother. I raised my eyebrows
She blushed and shrugged and turned back to Peter.

Edmund: Is it latin for "worst game ever invented"?

Peter chuckled. Susan huffed and closed the book. Personally i found the game quiet fun. But it does start to get boring when you've been playing for two hours.

Lucy: We could play hide & seek.

Peter: But we're already having so much fun.

You could feel the sarcasm. Susan sighed in annoyance.

Lucy: Come on Peter please. Pretty please.

Peter: one, two, three, four...

Edmund: What.

Everyone got up and started running toward the exits.

Peter: ...five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven.

I was first though the door and out into the hall. Everyone went off searching for a place to hide. I debated hiding in a suit of armor but " no touchin' of the historical artifacts!".

I eventually found a curtain in a small room with a bench next to me. I heard someone enter so i stood completely still and stopped breathing. I peaked around the curtain and saw Susan getting into the box next to me. She seemed to not have noticed me which i suppose means my spot is good. I heard Peter's distant counting as i stood waiting.

Peter: 85,86,87,88,89,90,91,92,93,94,95...

I felt something off. Like a shiver down my body. It was weird but i thought nothing of it.

Peter: ...99, 100. Ready or not hear i come!

I heard Lucy shouting down the hall.

Lucy: Its alright! i'm back! i'm alright!

I immediately jumped from my hiding spot and ran over to the area.

Peter: ... You two have quiet got the idea of this game.

I round the corner to see Lucy, Peter, and Edmund standing there. Lucy looked extremely confused.

Y/N: Hey, you alright i heard shouting.

Lucy: Weren't you wondering where i was?

Edmund: That's the point. That's why he was seeking you.

Susan joined us.

Susan: does this mean I win?

Y/N: yup.

Peter: I don't think Lucy wants to play anymore.

Lucy: I've been gone for hours.

Y/N: Lucy we've been playing for less than two minutes. Are feeling okay?

Lucy: Yes, i'm fine.

Lucy proceeded to tell us what happen and where she supposedly went.

~TIMESKIP~

We were in front of the wardrobe in the spare room. It was a big wardrobe. Twice as tall as me ( i'm 5'6 ) and full of fuzzy winter coats. We were inspecting it. Susan was looking inside. Edmund was checking the backside. I was inspecting the outside the front was ingraved with pictures of lions.

Once we finished inspecting it we turned to a waiting Lucy.

Susan: Lucy the only wood in here is in the back of the wardrobe.

Peter: One game at time lu. We don't all have your imagination.

I was still thinking about something.

Y/N: ...Lucy. Do you remember how high Peter had counted when you... "visited" the forest.

Lucy thought for a second.

Lucy: I think it was ninety... five

I was surprised the others gave me weird looks but i gave them a reason for my question.

Y/N: She was screaming that she was alright just as Peter finshed counting. Meaning there was a maximum of five seconds between her visit and her return.

Susan looked mildly surprised. Peter was just confused and Edmund didn't care. They started walking toward the door.

Lucy: But I wasn't imagining!

They all turned around looking a little annoyed. I was still thinking.

Susan: That's enough Lucy.

Lucy: I wouldn't lie about this!

Edmund: Well I believe you.

This caught my attention Edmund didn't seem like the type to agree with anyone.
Lucy: You do?

Edmund: Yeah of course. Didn't I tell you about the foot ball field in the bathroom cupboards?

There it was.

Peter: Will you just stop. You just have to make
everything worse don't you.

Edmund: It was just a joke.

Y/N: Yeahas well wasn't very funny.

Peter: When are you gonna learn to growup?

Edmund got really close to Peter.

Edmund: Shut up! You think you're dad but you're not!

Susan and Peter shared a look.

Susan: Well that was nicely handled.

She walked out of the room.

Y/N: She's right you know. That could've went better.

Peter: ...Yeah I know.

Lucy: ...But it really was there.

Peter: Susan's right Lucy. That's enough.

He walked out as well.

Y/N: You know... I believe in what I can see.

Lucy: So you don't believe me either?

Y/N: I never said that. But you do have to admit Lucy it's hard to believe. So i'm going to trust what I can see.

Lucy: What's that?

Y/N: You Lucy. Now are you certain the there is a magical forest that houses a faun in this wardrobe?

Lucy: Yes.

Y/N: Then that's good enough for me.

I smiled at her as she was beaming at me.

Y/N: Now lets get goin' its almost dinner time.

Lucy looked back at the wardrobe.

Lucy: Alright
