Edmund's POV:

Sitting is starting to get uncomfortable. The clanking of Metal on metal is constantly ringing in my ears. I'm terrified thinking about how they're going to kill me. The dwarf held his blade to my throat threatening me. This was probably the worst decision i'll ever make.

Suddenly a new sound penetrated the constant clanking, the whimper of a canine and the trotting of hooves. Out of the dark wood rushing into this camp was a group of horse... people? I didn't dwell on it to long hoping to heaven and back that they came to rescue me. The one who seemed like the leader stopped in front of me the dwarfs knife still tickling my throat. He swatted the dwarf away and picked me up, before turning and running back the way they came. After awhile of silence I decide to speak.

Edmund: Thank you.

The horse-person grunted and ignored me. The rest of the walk was awkward.

Y/N's POV:

After Aslan knighted Peter we all stepped away and wandered back toward the camp.

Aslan: Y/N, Follow me.

With a couple confused glances from the others I followed Aslan back to his tent. He sat down and nodded for me to do the same. After a couple second of him staring at me.

Aslan: Y/N, What is your understanding of the Arcanums?

Y/N: You mentioned those before, sir, what ar..... My Grandfather.

I realized where I'd seen the book before. My grandfather had one.

Aslan: Your Grandfather?

I nodded my head.

Y/N: When I was younger my grandfather told me stories of magic and dragons in secret from my parents. In the stories the characters would explore a world of magic and wonder. Thinking back when ever he told me these stories he always looked sad, or wistful. Anyway, in one of the stories he told of a hero, a mage, would had mastered all forms of magic by harnessing the powers of the Arcanums, Magical forces that govern the laws of magic and how it should be used.

Aslan was silent, brooding over my story. After a couple minutes Aslan stood up and moved to exit the tent.

Aslan: We will speak again once I've had time to think of this new development. Good day, Y/N.

He exited the tent and left me to mull over my new found revelation. How had my grandfather known about this place and how did he have a book of magic? There was only one clear answer. My Grandfather had been here, been to Narnia. But how and when? He must have come with the Professor, they where friends after all. My head was starting to hurt so I elected to just think on it tomorrow when I wasn't still high off adrenaline. I exited the tent and made my way back to the one I share with Peter. Upon entering I noticed both Susan and Lucy were here too. As soon as they saw me the questions started.

Y/N: Alright, alright. One at a time. Peter, you first.

Peter: What did Aslan want with you?

Y/N: He wanted to ask about how I use magic like I do.

Peter: What did you tell him?

Y/N: I'll tell you later. Right now I'm still processing it my self.

He nodded and didn't push further.

Y/N: Right, Susan your next.

Susan: What was that spell you used?

Y/N: Hmm, oh the lightning one? Fulminis, A sky spell allows the caster to fire one bolt of lightning at the command word.

Susan: And what about that wind spell at the river?

Y/N: Aspiro, Another sky spell, blows a gust of wind in the direction the caster is facing. Strength depends on how hard the caster blows out air.

She seemed like she wanted to ask another question but decided against it. She started playing with her hair again before she nodded
.
Y/N: And last but not least, Lucy.

Lucy: Did he say anything about Edmund?

Peter and Susan looked at me more intensely than before. I sighed and shook my head.

Y/N: They just sent a party to follow the wolf to they're camp so we'll have to wait for them to get back to know for sure.

With the atmosphere taking a nose dive I decided to lay down.

Y/N: He's fine, He has to be.... Right?

Alright, I hope everyone had an amazing memorial day weekend or what ever holiday you celebrate around this time. Right now down to business. It's looking like the Hunger Games story is going to win the vote. I'm not shocked really there aren't any good ones on this app.
