Chapter 9

|3 years later|

It's been three years since Reyna, and I ran away from the Blood Moon Pack and three years since we joined the Silver Moon Pack. Ever since we joined the Silver Moon Pack it's been great. Reyna found her mate and I found my true one and I'm so happy. Today is the Luna Ceremony, and I'm in my room with Dominique and Reyna. We're just having a good time while getting ready for the Ceremony. Dominique looked over at me, "Go take your shower and we'll pick out what you're going to wear okay?"

"Okay." I grabbed my towel and went to the bathroom. I took my clothes off and hopped in the shower to do my business. After I finished, I got out and wrapped the towel around me. I looked in the mirror to see a powerful and brave girl. I became the pack's best warrior and now I'm about to be crowned the Luna. I'm so excited.

I walked out of the bathroom to see my dress and heels laid out on the bed.

Reyna looked at me, "Get dressed so I can do your hair."

"Okay," I replied.

I went over to the bed and got dressed. Once I was dressed Reyna dragged me over to the desk in the room and sat me down. She turned me away from the mirror so she could do my hair while Dominique did my make-up which was neutral. When they were finished, Reyna turned me around so I could look at myself and I was surprised. I looked beautiful.

"Thank you, guys."

"You're welcome Re," They replied.

The door opened and my best friend Marcel came in. "Y'all look beautiful, but I came in to let y'all know it's time for the Luna Ceremony."

"Thank you Marcel and okay," We replied.

We all went outside. Dominique, her mate, and Marcel went on the stage and sat down with Ray and Valentina. Ray stood up and went up to the microphone. "Please stand and welcome your Alpha to the stage." Everybody stood up and started clapping for Akeba. He came up on stage and that's when everyone became quiet. "As you all know, two people joined our pack three years ago and one of them was my mate."

Everybody nodded. "For the ones that don't already know, my mate's name is Reese Carlia. Now if you will, please welcome my mother Valentina Storm to the stage."

Everybody stood up to welcome Valentina to the stage. When she came up they became silent so she could speak.

"Hello everyone. I know this is a Luna Ceremony, but I would like to introduce your Luna's protector first before I bring your new Luna up here. Reyna Williams, please come onto the stage."

Reyna walked up onto the stage and stood next to Valentina. Alright, Reyna. I want you to repeat after me okay."

She nodded her head, "Yes ma'am."

Valentina: I vow to protect my Luna at all costs.

Reyna: I vow to protect my Luna at all costs.

After Reyna repeated what Valentina said, she started glowing. Once the glow went away Reyna went off the stage and sat next to her mate. Valentina then called me up onto the stage and told me to repeat what she said.

Valentina: I, Luna Reese, vow to protect my pack and mate at all costs.

Me: I, Luna Reese, vow to protect my pack and mate at all costs.

I felt different. I felt even stronger than I did before, and I felt a stronger link to my pack. Valentina told me that my eyes changed colors. I asked for a mirror, and she gave me a small handheld one. I looked to see that one of my eyes was silver and the other one was brown. Valentina turned to the pack and said, "Please welcome your new Luna, Reese Carlia!" Everyone stood up and started clapping and yelling. I waved and smiled at everyone.
