I'm so happy that my dad and I are having a father and daughter's day. I am glad I found out the truth about my dad and we can catch up on everything. Hearing my phone ring, I picked it up and saw that it was my dad calling.

{Phone Call}

Dad: Hey baby girl.

Me: Hey dad.

Dad: Are you ready for today?

Me: Yes, I am.

Dad: Me too. I will be there soon.

Me: Okay. I will see you soon, dad.

Dad: Okay, sweetheart. See you soon.

{End of Phone Call}

I put my phone on the charger, got up, went to my closet, and picked out my outfit before going to the bathroom. I changed out of my nightclothes in the bathroom and got in the shower. Once I had finished taking a shower, I got dressed and did my hair. I left the bathroom and entered the room. I saw Akeba come in. He smelled like the forest, so I asked him, "What have you been up to?" He said, "I just went for a run in the woods."

I replied, "How was it?"

"It was peaceful." He said.

I nodded my head. "That's good."

"Are you still going to ask your dad if he wants to join our pack?"

"Yes. I'm going to ask him later."

"Okay. Let me know what he says."

"I will."

Akeba gave me a hug and a kiss. We pulled away from each other and I put on my sandals. I checked my phone to see it fully charged, and I unplugged it. We heard a knock, and Akeba went to answer it. It was my dad, and Akeba said, "What's up, Anu?"

Anu: I came to see if Reese is ready.

Akeba: Yes, she's ready.

Anu: Okay.

As I left, I gave Akeba one more kiss and said, "see you later". As we stepped outside, I saw a black and white Camaro. Looking at my dad, I ask, "Is this your car?"

"Yeah, you like it?" He asked.

"I love it." I replied.

"Me too. They're my favorite cars."

I smiled. "They're mine as well."

"Nice."

"Yeah."

So, my dad was driving, and I figured I should ask where we were going. I didn't realize I'd forgotten to ask when we were talking about his car.

"Hey dad?"

"Yes?"

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"It's a surprise." He replied.

"I hate surprises."

"Well, you're going to like this one."

"If you say so."

We stopped talking, and I stared out the window. I was listening to the radio and I must have spaced out because I felt my dad shaking me. "Huh?"

"We're here." He replied.

"Oh, okay." We got out of the car, and I looked to see we were at my favorite restaurant, the one he would always take me to before the abuse and bullying started.

"No way! I love this place! It's my favorite restaurant!" I exclaimed.

"See, I knew you would love it."
