Lexi smiled as she looked to Siennah in her Moses basket. She loved being a mum to her little girl and she knew how she and Fletch were making it work. She knew that they had to for the sake of their kids.

Lexi knew she wasn't the mum to Fletch's other kids. But she was the next best thing. Especially since she had just given birth to their sister.

Lexi knew how they had a blended family. And she didn't mind that one bit. She just wanted it all to work out for them. It was all she wanted.

Lexi looked up as Evie walked in. "You okay?" She asked as she looked to her.

"Dad asked me to see if you needed anything before he goes to work?"

Lexi shook her head and smiled. "No. But can you tell him that I'll pop by at lunch? I need to see normal humans that can talk without actually crying," she said.

Evie laughed. She turned and walked out the room. Lexi looked to her daughter and smiled. She knew how much she loved her. How much she wanted to make it work with Fletch. But deep down, she had her doubts.

Lexi smiled as she walked onto the ward. She smiled and looked to see Madison. Madison walked over. "You're not working. You know that right?" She said.

"I know. I figured I would bring Siennah in to see her favourite auntie. And her grumpy gran," Lexi told her.

Madison nodded and smiled. "I'm obviously her favourite auntie. Let's be real. I'm the one who's going to be taking her to get her belly pierced when she's underage," she joked.

Lexi rolled her eyes. "No thank you. Have you seen Fletch? I thought he would be here to see us. But nope."

"He got called into surgery. Some elderly woman who's having a Triple A. He formed an attachment to her," Madison said.

Lexi nodded. She smiled. "Can you watch her for a second while I go see him?"'she said.

"Sure. Gives me a chance to have a break."

Lexi walked along the corridors. She smiled as she saw her mum. "Why are you here? You just had a baby," Jac said as she looked to her daughter.

Lexi nodded. "Lovely to see you too mum. And Siennah is with Madison. I came to see Fletch. But instead I bumped into you."

Jac nodded. "I haven't seen him. Last I heard, he was in surgery. Don't worry though."

"I'm not worried. Why would I be?" Lexi asked as she looked to her.

Jac said nothing as she walked off. Lexi frowned, thinking the whole situation was weird.

Lexi eventually found Fletch. She smiled and looked to him. "I've been looking everywhere for you."

"Hey. Where's Siennah?" Fletch asked as he kissed her lips.

"With your sister. I thought I'd come see how your shift is going."

Fletch pulled her close and kissed her. Lexi kissed back and smiled. "I love you."

"I love you too."

But with Lexi thinking that Fletch was keeping something from her, would their relationship survive it all?
