Lexi sighed to herself as she stood in Darwin. She saw fletch as he sat in his office and frowned to herself. Lexi was worried. She could see that he was off. Lexi placed a hand on her bump and sighed as she picked up a patient file and looked to it and sighed. Lexi didn't know why but she was feeling off.

She felt as if there was something that just wasn't quite right. She just couldn't shake the feeling that there was something wrong and she didn't like it, Lexi sighed to herself as she looked to see jac who walked over to her and frowned "are you okay?" Jac asked as Lexi looked to her and smiled

"I'm fine, my head is just a mess that's all it" lexi said as jac looked to her and frowned

"I'm fine mum, you don't need to worry over me, I'm fine" lexi said as she walked onto a ward as she started to check a patient's vitals and sighed to herself as she looked to see fletch and Madison who were standing talking

"your all good, we will get you prepped for surgery soon" lexi said as she walked off.

Lexi grabbed a sip of her coffee and sighed as she ran a hand through her hair knowing it was all a mess

Lexi walked along the hallway and smiled as she saw fletch "you tired darling, are you okay?" She asked as he looked to her and smiled

"I guess, come here" he said as he grabbed her arm and pulled her into the office, she looked to him and smiled

"is everything okay, you don't look well. I have the right to know I'm your girlfriend and I'm carrying your baby" she said as fletch smiled

"I am fine, I have just been feeling a little off that's all" he said as she looked to him for a moment and sighed as she wrapped her arms around his neck

"are you sure that's all it is?" She asked as fletch looked to her and smiled

"I am fine, besides I have to be for this little one here" fletch said as he rested a hand on her bump. Lexi looked to him and smiled as she leant in and kissed her. Lexi pulled him close as she kissed him back

"I thought we could nae her esme?" Lexi said as max looked to her and smiled

"Esmè fletcher, I like it" fletch said, fletch knew he was staling on what he had to tell lexi but he was scared to tell her as he knew it was going to kill her and he didn't know if he could do that to her

Lexi stood in pulses as Madison walked in and smiled as she walked over to her and smiled "are you okay?" Madison asked as Lexi

"why wouldn't I be?" Lexi asked as Madison frowned as she Realised that fletch still hadn't told lexi the truth over what was going on with him

"no reason I was only wondering, I just thought fletch was talking To you earlier and it looked intense" Madison said. Madison knew that she couldn't talk to lexi.

She couldn't admit to lexi just what was bothering her as she knew that it wasn't her secret to tell that it wasn't her illness and Lexi couldn't go there. She knew that fletch had to tell lexi the truth

"so fletch and I agreed on a name for the baby, Esmè. What do you think"

"cute, she will be loved, I know ella can't wait to be a big sister" Madison said as Lexi looked to her and smiled "are you sure your okay Madison?" Lexi asked

"no, I haven't even told raf yet but I'm pregnant and I don't know what to do"

"it's not like last time, raf needs to blow and end a great guy. He will be a great dad if its what you want" Lexi said as Madison looked to her and smiled knowing that she had other fears over having a baby

Lexi smirked as she got into the car that night. She looked to fletch and frowned "I'm sorry, I lied to you earlier. I have en keeping something from you" he said as Lexi frowned

"what is it"

"I've been feeling off lately so I called in a favour and I had a scan and they found something, I'm sorry lex I have prostate cancer" fletch said as Lexi looked to him with tears in her eyes. She could feel herself starting to cry as he placed his hands on her cheek as he rested his forehead against hers and smiled

"hey, I'm going to be okay I promise Im going to be fine" fletch said as Lexi nodded praying he would but could a pregnant Lexi cope with all of this?
