"Rob, dinner's read-" The 15-year-old's words were interrupted by his body slamming against the locked door he expected to open.

"What the fuck..." Eden mumbled though she wasted no time rolling out of her lover's embrace and shoving herself in the closet.

Robyn leaped off the bed to crack her bedroom door open, revealing her younger brother, Rorrey.

"Dinner's ready? Okay, perfect. I'll be there in a minute," Robyn tried closing the door on him, but he persisted.

"Why was your door locked? You never lock it?"

"I was changing. Now go," Robyn groaned. She pushed the door once again, but Rorrey had managed to slither his foot between the door and the threshold.

"You wearing the same clothes as this morning?"

Though Eden had been living in the country for now 5 years, she had still yet to fully assimilate the Bajan dialect. Therefore, the following series of words that rapidly spewed out of her girlfriend flew mostly over her head. Something along the lines of being annoyed and getting the fuck out of there.

Eden had to restrain herself from laughing in order to maintain her anonymity, but as soon as the door finally closed, she almost fell out of the closet in tears.

"Damn, go easy on him," Eden said as she giggled her way back to the bed.

"He's so damn annoying," Rob groaned.

"Is he annoying, or are you just embarrassed you got caught?" She laughed.

"Caught doing what?" Robyn denied it, but the shade of red that took over her cheeks betrayed her.

In the past month, things had been so good with Robyn, Eden thought. It felt good to finally live an easy life. Granted, things weren't perfect, but having Robyn back in her life was the stability Eden needed. Being girlfriends was just the cherry on top.

Robyn's presence crossed all the T's and put all the dots on the i's. If they weren't in school, the two were together. And if the two weren't together, they were thinking of each other. It was young love at its core, and it was what they both had been craving.

Even Robyn, unexpectedly, found herself in better spirits. As if a burden had been taken off her shoulders, she found herself feeling freer; happier. No one but Eden could fill the Eden-shaped hole in her life.

"Okay, I have some crazy news to tell you," Robyn perked up.

"Crazy?" Eden asked skeptically.

"Yes! You remember how I told you after you left that guy's party I met some big shot American guy?" Robyn was cheesing from ear to ear. Whatever she was about to share seemed so exciting that she could barely sit still.

"Mm yeah, I remember," Eden inched her on.

"And you remember the next day? When we went to his hotel?" Robyn built suspense.

Eden did indeed remember going back to Sandy Lane Resorts the very next day with Robyn. Apparently, after Eden skipped out on the second half of the party, Robyn and her girl group were accosted by an American tourist. The other girls didn't seem to matter much to him. He started swearing up and down about how good of a singer Robyn was, and just how wowed he was.

He invited her to come sing song songs for him the next day, to prove that it wasn't a one-time deal. Eden thought it was extremely fishy, and Robyn must've known that too because she hadn't even told her own mother about the encounter. But she agreed to let Eden come along, for protection and whatnot.

Still apprehensive, however, the two teens made a pit stop at their local library to look up this "Evan Rogers", and much to Eden's dismay, this guy was the real deal.
