Chapter 6Biyone's pov
My belly hurt as I went home feeling elated, the interview was short and the test was so easy. I would be starting work on Saturday morning so as to get use to the job, it was one taxi fare and then I walk to the clothes store in Half Way Tree. The manager says they had a store town and one in Constant Spring, that we may be ask to go to fill in for someone at any given time. I wasn't too worried because I knew the one down town was never short of workers, it was opposite to where Timera had a built in stall on the outside of the arcade.
Jahnoi came that evening and I stood far from him when we talk at the back. "Yuh dey pon yuh period?" He ask surprising me.
"A how you know dat?" I ask him acidly.
He smirks then reply. "Yuh stand up far from mi like mi grow horn di few days yuh nuh si mi."
"How yuh hand feel?" I ask him because I notice he kept rubbing at it.
"A likkle bit funny, a yesterday di cast come off," he answers telling me.
It felt awkward when he hugs me and I shy away from his kisses because I wasn't sure how to act during this time with a man. He laughs at me and I marvel at how different he looks when he does, it was the first time I've ever seen or heard him laugh. He bit my lips and then kiss me sweetly, it was so nice and I returned it taking all the pleasure I was getting.
"A'right mi a guh wey leave yuh now cause yuh out fi lead mi a stray," he says accusingly.
I look at him meaningfully and he smiles, I smile too and he took my hands and place them around his neck. He hugs me and my breasts push against his chest, it was so sensual and romantic. He took my lips and my tongue in a passionate whirlwind before slowly releasing me and tell me that he will text me when he reaches home, but then realization hits me and I fell from off cloud nine with a heavy thud. He was going home to where I could not go and Keila will have him all to herself.
What was I thinking kissing him and feeling such emotions? I ask myself as I stood out in the dark after he drives off in his car. "Finey?" Jalan calls from the back door.
"Yes," I answer.
He came outside and ask. "Wha happen to yuh?"
"Nutn," I say with a defeated sigh.
"Wey yuh and yuh man duh bex?" He ask looking at me from the light spilling through the kitchen doorway.
"Which man? Keila man?" I ask him angrily.
"Suh wey yuh a nwam off my head fah? And a who a Keila man? Caan Jahnoi wey only know Keila when him want a release. A dem foolishness dey yuh bex up and a plague di man wid? Yuh betta get real," He questioned stating.
Two days later Jahnoi pick me up after work and carry me to a house in a quiet community uptown, it was fully furnished and he had his own room. What was strange was that it had family photos hanging on the walls in the living room and seems like a family home, it seemed lived in.
"When we take a break from Matthews Lane a here suh we live, yuh like dah house dey ova dey suh?" He tells me then ask.
I look across to where he had pointed, at a nice two story house painted in gold and white. "It looks nice from the outside," I tell him.
He smirks then say. "Well let's go see if the inside looks nice as well."
From a knapsack bag sitting in an armchair he took out a bunch of keys and I followed him out and over there. He opened the carport grill and we went inside through a side door, the house was empty and when we speak it sounded overly loud. There were two bedrooms on the ground floor, two and a half bathrooms, a nice size kitchen, living, dining and washroom. The verandah was small and he said that people don't really sit at the front of their houses up this side.
