100 Days in a zombie apocalypse

Day 4

Neon and vaida

It's been good 1 hour ever since they left their area, even though neon didn't know how to drive she was doing pretty well, the only thing they had to do now was get to oliwia just like they all agreed on.

"Good thing that house went up in flames back then, without all that noise the zombies would've gotten in to the cat for sure"

Vaida said as she looked out her rolled down window, the whole car was messed up, dents in the sides, the windows cracked and dirty, stained with blood, the windshield wipers completely ripped off and the windshield completely covered in whatever organs and other fluids that left behind the creatures. Vaida and neon agreed on calling them zombies as that's technically what they were

"Watch out neon, a lot of cars out here"

Vaida said, neon simply nodding her head in agreement.  Neon took a hard left before vaida tapped Neon on the shoulder.

"Stop..stop the car"

Vaida said, fear in her voice as neon stopped the car, rolling down her window and proceeded to peep her head out.

"Holey shit"

Was all that neon said, the whole road was blocked off by those, things, there had to be at least 200 to 300 minimum.  Neon slowly backed up the car, there were many ways to get to oliwia, they just had to find the safest one around this mess.

Milana

Its been a while now ever since I've got a message from my mom, I've spent all day in my bathroom, locked in just for safety reasons, my water has been running out, yeah I grabbed a couple of water bottles but it was those shitty tiny ones, the only ones around at home so I'm bound to leave the bathroom soon, not to mention my phone has been running out of charge, I knew I had to leave this place soon and get to oliwia, but how? Its a 1 hour walk not to mention with all this chaos around? Yea no way I'm leaving any time soon.

It took me a while to build up the courage to leave my bathroom but after another 20 minutes of debates with myself I finally got up, peeping out from behind my bathroom door before I stepped out, I quickly ran to my kitchen and grabbed some more water bottles, I stuffed them in to my pockets of the hoodie I was wearing but this time I made sure to grab a knife, good thing my mom sharpened them the other day, as I was making my way for my stairs to lock myself in my room instead I saw a man outside my window,  my father put a sticker on the doors window so that people wouldn't be able to look in as it appeared blurred  but I couldn't help but freeze...was that blood? The second the man noticed her he started frantically banging at the door so I ran as fast as I could to my room without looking back, good thing I locked the doors.

After another extra 30 minutes of taking the long way, they decided to drive around town, there is no way neons car could just bust through that heard, but it was worth it as they could see oliwia's house.

"Finally,  we made it!"

Vaida said with excitement,  relief washed over them as they finally arrived at the spot, parking the car as near as possible as they looked around to make sure the coast is clear.

"Alright,  you run out and knock at her door and ill go around to grab the bag"

Vaida noded her head in agreement, they both counted down from 3 to 1 and quickly bolted out of the car, like agreed on vaide made her way to Oliwia's house, banging on the door while neon ran around to the back of the car grabbing her PE bag filled with canned food and made her way with it to oliwia's door.

"Darn it come on oliwia open the god damn door!"

Neon shouted and banged on the door one last time before the door flew open.

"Quick, come in come in!"

Oliwia said as she quickly closed the door behind the two, locking the door and pushing the couch back against the door.

"Took you a while to open the door, you're lucky there were no zombies around "

Neon said as she placed down the bag by her side.

"I know i know I'm sorry! As you can see it takes a while to push the couch out of the door, not to mention I wasn't expecting you two at this exact moment... but I'm glad you guys made it here safely,  anything worrying you guys saw on the way here? Maybe some normal people?"

Vaida and neon looked at each other, concern could be seen on their faces.

"You can explain vaida, I'll put the stuff in the kitchen "

Neon said as she left with the bad, making her way to the kitchen she was surprised to see that oliwia organised all the canned food and anything that goes bad in a few days.

Vaida followed oliwia as she guided her to the living room.

"Well?"

Oliwia asked.

"You see when we were making our way here we stumbled on a heard  of zombies..there were at least 200 of them in one spot, just squished together blocking the way through town so we had to improvise and take the long way to get to you "

Vaida said as oliwia simply listened, shocked at how quickly this was spreading.

"I see.. so about 15 minutes from here? We better move quickly... let's give the others 3 more days, if they don't appear by then we'll go out and see if the way cleared out, if it did well grab milana and if not... well just have to leave"

Neon walked in to the living room after organising the food.

"I agree with oliwia, we can't waste time sitting around,  if anything these things will only move to this area and when that happens we're fucked"

Neon added. They were right,  what will a bunch of 15-16 year olds do in a situation like that? They have no guns, nowhere safe to hide in the house so the only rational thing to do is run.
