Petelguese: It shall be done then, yes! yes! yes! The ordeal shall be completed!

So with that my new creepy temporary Sin Archbishop goes and wanders off to yet another damp and creepy witch cult cave, seriously, how many damn suspiciously large caves are there in this kingdom? I am convinced Pandora did something here, there is absolutely no way there is this many conveniently placed caves with enough space to hold a bunch of witch cult members just scattered about, unless of course its just some weird fantasy geography thing, could be either. Anyways, enough ranting about the caves in Lugnica, I now have to solve the issues regarding our lovely protagonist who just always seems to want to give me a headache with his dumbass antics. So what's the issue then? Well the issue is that Subaru is currently going through a bit of a rebellious and emo phase right now, and that's no good, so we have to traumatize him all for the sake of character development, trust me here, it's totally only for that. See, while I did say I was gonna solve this in one fell swoop just like the mansion arc, this is unfortunately a lot more complicated to do. Now I could just pop in and solve everything easily, that would set everything on a course to who knows where. While I could also once again just counter this by taking the place of Emilia and Subaru, but replacing them with me and Felt along with Reiny, that would also be an issue. Why? Well once again, that would mean Subaru doesn't get any development and remains a delusional edgy idiot, and I really can't stand anymore of that, so no. I need to speedrun his development while at the same time not going so fast that he ends up as a vegetable.

But what are all the factors to consider here, I need to compile those up first. Essentially I have to manage the White Whale, Petelguese, Crusch and Anastasia, Felt, Emilia, and a bunch of other things I really don't wanna think about right now to get this right and according somewhat according to canon. Ahhh! Why are there so many variables! My brain isn't just trembling, it's exploding right now! Ok, ok, calm down me, I've already meticulously planned events like this before, I just need to do it again, right? The first order of business would be to see what these set of events do, first loop with Subaru seeing everyone dead, trauma. Second loop with Petelguese, grows his hate for the guy and some extra trauma and care for Rem. Third loop, rejected by the candidates, he sees the White Whale, Rem gets forgotten, Puck kills everyone again before getting vaporized. So, so, what can I get rid of, or at least alter the events of? Hmm... I think I've got it. If I manage to get Subaru to go along with Rem with a little convincing, I can essentially condense two loops in one and get practically the same results, that's good. For the third loop however, I think that one is completely unnecessary, and a perfect opportune moment to jump straight to the successful loop without him dying. Now, seeing him die does appeal to my sadistic side, that is also perfectly normal, believe me. However, it is also a pain in the ass to constantly have to repeat everything, and I am sure Reiny doesn't enjoy having to do the same paperwork three times over either, so once again, no.

Now how am I gonna make the third loop successful? Well after that loop, during the 4th loop, if everything would go as normal without my interference, he finally succeeds in making deals with the candidates and kills the White Whale, all good right? Wrong! He gets possessed by Petelguese and dies! At least he does reset to after killing the White Whale, or else that would have genuinely been really annoying to deal with, well after that he does manage to plan out killing Petelguese and all goes well, until it doesn't, but that's a decent amount of time later anyways. So to make the third loop like that loop I would need to make it go similarly to the fourth almost successful loop, just without Petelguese making Subaru die because of his finger nonsense. With all this planning then, I have managed to condense the two trauma and Sin Archbishop introduction loops into one, and managed to condense two failed tries into the successful loop. Essentially, I have managed to make it go from four failed loops and then finally the fifth successful loop, down to just one failed loop and one successful loop, I truly am the greatest, aren't I? Anyways enough praising myself and that stuff, I've finally got it all sorted out, so let's go! Hmm? The small details like the candidates, timing, and all that other stuff? What the hell do you think I've done all these preparations, planning, and power acquiring for then huh?! Don't underestimate the sheer extent of my Re:Zero obsession before I died!
