I usually don't do POV since I'm not that comfortable doing them and constantly question if I'm portraying the guys' minds correctly but I decided to give it a shot. You can thank AdoreeTaay for requesting me to try a chapter into their minds. Hopefully I did it correctly.

Owen's POV

I can't believe that jerk went as far as hiding money from his family then take her paycheck as well. It doesn't surprise me but it's okay because now that he is out of the picture, we can show her how she is supposed to be treated. I know it has been hard for her these past few weeks, but it has made all of us so happy to care for her and the children. Speaking of which, I need to make sure Mr. Coleman isn't going overboard on the little one and I need to speak to Kyler when he has a free moment.

I also need to speak to Mr. Toma about that scholarship he had us create just for Kyler now that he will be receiving money, but I have a feeling he is going to tell Kyler he will still be covered so Kyler does not have to spend that money.

It amazes me how this tiny woman has been so strong for her children, reminds me of Miss Lee when it comes to us, it must be the mama bear thing she talks about so much. I know we have grown protective over them as well.

If I am being honest with myself, I have never kneeled for a woman before and yet it felt just as natural to kneel and help her with her shoes as I have kneeled for the guys. It was breathtaking watching her eyes light up seeing Mr. Griffin, Mr. Taylor, and Mr. Korba care for Kiari as we let her know of the plans for today. We will do whatever we need in order to see that look on her face as much as possible, all her worries and pain were gone. Hearing her admit that she had no fear when I commanded her was so beautiful and I could tell the guys enjoyed that as well. She will never have that fear or worry again in her life, of that I am sure. Her submission when we finally claim her is going to be worth the wait.

"Can we just go home please?" she asks snapping me out of my thoughts, "my hand is starting to hurt."

"Of course," I say before I remember a couple of the guys are mowing her yard so she can't just yet. Besides I'm being selfish right now and want more time with her. An idea pops into my head, "we just have to make one more stop before going home."

"Okay," she says following me out to the car. I notice her holding her arm closer to her chest and remember the sling Dr. Green gave me. I grab it and hand it to her, her shock forces me not to growl at something so simple shocking her. That asshole better have been tortured before he died, I think as I help her put it on. "Thank you."

"Of course. Now, let's get you some food before heading home."

"What?" she asks me confused. "I can eat at home."

"You can also get some lunch with me, unless you don't want to." I already know her response, but I have to admit it is fun messing with her, I can just imagine the guys reaction if they were to see me.

"No, that's fine," she says quickly. "I just... I didn't mean it like that."

I chuckle letting a tiny smirk slip past my lips, "I know."

"You were messing with me!" She gasps "Owen!" I suddenly want her to continue saying my name, it sounds perfect on her lips. Stop, I can't go there right now.

"Now, how does Chinese sound?" I ask trying to focus on something else.

She rolls her eyes making me force back yet another groan, she is going to be the death of me with that smile on her lips and mischievousness screaming to be let out. This day is going to be such a sweet torture I think as she says, "it sounds perfect."

"Do you have your medicine with you?" I ask as she looks out the window.

"Yes," she nods, "but I try not to use it."

"Why?" I ask curiously. "Are you low? Dr. Green can get you more."

"No, it's not that," she shook her head. I give her a quick glance then go back to paying attention to the road. "I um," she clears her throat and a flash of disappointment crosses her face, what in the world is she thinking right now? I just have to be patient and she will tell me, "I used to have a problem with pills," she whispered so softly that I almost didn't hear her.

"I understand," I say softly. "Thank you for being honest with me, Darling. You will be okay taking one with me today and if you want, I will hold onto the bottle for you as well as speak to Dr. Green about possibly lowering the dosage if you would like or find a different aide for your pain."

"You would?" She asks me surprised, "I don't want to be an even more bother."

I pull into the parking lot and park. I turn to face her and once I'm able to hold her gaze I tell her, "It's not a bother at all. I like caring for you and the children, as do the rest of the family. Now be a good girl and give me an honest answer, do you want me to take over handling your pain medicine?"

"Yes Sir," she says almost instantly as relief fills her eyes.

"Give me the bottle," I command holding out my hand. She reaches into her bag and hands it to me.

"Thank you, Owen," She whispers as I give her another small smile. Her awe covers her face as I give her the smile. I may have to start giving her more of them.
