Chapter 25

"Doc," she slowly drifted awake to hear conversation.

"Yeah," Sean mumbled into her hair as she drifted back to sleep.

"You need to get ready for work," Nathan whispered. "You slept as long as possible, you'll be late if you stay in bed any longer."

"Okay," Sean sighed then placed a gently kiss into her hair. "Cuddle with her, she loves cuddles."

"Yes," Nathan smiled, "Gladly."

"What's Kiairi and Kyler doing?" Sean asked as he carefully pulled his arm out from under the pillow. She whimpered then sighed in content as Nathan slid his arm under her head and wrapped his arm around her stomach then started moving his thumb up and down softly.

"Kiairi is taking a nap with Luke and Kyler is at work with Axel," Nathan whispered. "He's going to stay after to help Axel with something, so they are going to grab dinner somewhere when they are done. He's got a study group tomorrow that will take most of the day. Gabe and Luke are off tomorrow so they are making plans to take Little One out for some fun."

"Okay," Sean whispered as he got dressed. "Her pain pills are in my office if she needs one but she has to eat with it or it will make her queasy. She will put off taking one as long as possible so watch her."

"Got it," Nathan whispered as he raised just a little to watch her sleep.

Sean bent down and kissed Nathan then gently bit his bottom lip making Nathan groaned softly. "Take care of our girl. Call or text if need anything."

"Yes Sir," Nathan breathed as Sean smirked and left the room.

Nathan POV

I can't believe she has finally agreed to be ours. No more watching from afar and wishing. She looks so peaceful and happy here in my arms. I haven't ever seen her this calm and happy ever, but I swear we will do whatever to always have her like this. I need to capture this moment. He grabbed his phone and took a picture, frowning when she frowned at the bright light. Shit, I forgot about flash! Oh, thank God she didn't wake up. He sighed in relief when she didn't wake up and scooted a little closer to him. He bent down and kissed her temple. God, her skin is so soft against my lips. Hehe, she loves kisses, good we will give her as many as she lets us. He smirked as she pouted then smiled when he gave her another kiss. She is so adorable. How did we get so freaking lucky? How could that asshole ever treat her and the kiddos like crap? Anyway, doesn't matter now, we'll show her how it's supposed to be. We'll give her the family and love she deserves.

"Hey, Doc leave already?"

Nathan looked up to see Victor standing in the doorway.

"Yeah, a few minutes ago," Nathan whispered.

"Cute," Victor whispered watching Liza roll over and press her face up against Nathan's chest. She rubbed her face into him a few times then sighed softly as he ran his fingers through her hair.

"Doc said she craves cuddles," Nathan whispered.

"Good thing there is plenty of us to give her them," Victor smiled. "Well, I'm off to practice. I'll be back later tonight. Love you."

"Love you," Nathan whispered as Victor kissed him then kissed Liza's cheek before leaving. "Oh Peanut, I can't wait to see you thrive under all our love."

Liza heard a heartbeat as she slowly woke up, "Hey Peanut, Doc had to go to work," Nathan explained as he rubbed her back since she had her head on his chest and arm around him. "He didn't want to leave you alone, so he asked me to lay with you."

"Kay," she mumbled as she refused to move, she was too comfortable. "Kids?"

"Kyler is at work and Kiari is spending time with Gabe and Luke."

"Long?" she tiredly asked.

"Maybe three hours. Are you hungry?" he asked as she shifted a little.

"Owww," she mumbled, "oh sorry," she whispered noticing her cast was pressed up against his ribs.

"I'm fine, Peanut," he shook his head, "it didn't bother me one bit, promise. Do you want a pain pill? Doc told me where they were in case you needed them."

"No," she shook her head. "I'm fine." She sat up and moved her shoulder in a circle.

"Be still," Nathan said sitting up. He shifted her so she was sitting in front of him with her back facing him. He started massaging her shoulder and she let a soft moan, making him chuckle. "Better?"

"Lots," she nodded then remained still as he started working on her neck. "Wow..."

He leaned forward until he was millimeters from her ear, "Anytime you want my magic hands on you all you have to do is ask. I'm more than willing."
