The Overpowered Sage of Remnant (Naruto x RWBY crossover)

Chapter 16: Graduation

Naruto, Hinata and Hanabi arrived in Beacon and went to the Headmaster's office.

Ozpin: You've been absent for two days.

Glynda: And didn't tell us where you're going! You two could have been killed or captured! I ought to just place the both of you in detention!

Hinata: No, it was my idea. Naruto protested but I arm-twisted him to follow him.

Glynda: So be it. You are under detention for a whole week.

Hinata: Only one request: This is my younger sister Hanabi. We Hyuuga were nomads and have no home. Our family is all but slaughtered. I ask that you take her in.

Ozpin: Very well. I shall ask Glynda here to take her in to her home and be her legal guardian.

Glynda: I accept.

Hanabi: Thank you sister.

Hinata: You are welcome Hanabi.

Glynda: Follow me Hanabi. I'll show you where you're going to be staying.

After Goodwitch and Hanabi left the office, Ozpin looked at the two.

Ozpin: I'd like you two to explain what you did during your absence.

Naruto: Went to Toneri's castle to rescue Hinata's family. All our dead except her sister and I'll let Hinata explain the rest.

Hinata: Eliminated Toneri. He won't be a problem anymore after he killed my father and cousin.

Ozpin: I see. My condolences to you, Lady Hyuuga. I can forgive this absence since you dealt a decisive blow against the Ōtsutsuki clan. Hinata, you still are facing detention though.

Hinata: So long as my little sister is being taken care of, I don't mind.

Ozpin: Good. You are dismissed.

Hinata and Naruto left the office.

Naruto: Hinata, you didn't have to do that.

Hinata: I know but I want to.

Naruto: Ozpin didn't comment about your eyes.

Hinata: I noticed but I don't know what they are either. Naruto, we should switch teams now. Your team is waiting for you and I mine.

Naruto: Right. See you, Hinata.

Hinata: One last thing. (kisses Naruto on the cheek) Thank you, Naruto. I wouldn't have done it without you.

Naruto: Your welcome, Hinata.

Hinata nods to him and they went back to their assigned dorms.

When Naruto went back to him, he was greeted with Ruby rushing in to hug him via semblance.

Naruto: Oof!

Ruby: Na-ru-to! We missed you! So! Much!

Naruto: (rubs Ruby's head) I miss you too.

Yang: How's Hinata?

Naruto: Professor Goodwitch nailed her with a detention ban.

Yang: Yikes. But why aren't you?

Naruto: She took all of the blame for me.

Yang: Right.

Weiss: So how did the trip go?

Naruto: Managed to save Hinata's sister but that's it.

Blake: You know you could ask us for help. Hinata didn't want to but you could.

Naruto: Whatever your reasons are for excluding you, I share them.

Ruby: Naruto, we're a team. I'm your second. Whatever problems you got, we confront it together.

Naruto: Haven't forgotten that. Actually I kind of did.

Blake: You might have gotten hurt and despite your god-like powers, you can still get hurt. I can never forgive myself if the person my people worshipped gets hurt on my watch.

Weiss: (puts hand on Naruto's shoulder) If it helps you actually did right in helping Hinata. She was like a mother to me since I had none.

Naruto: I'll be sure to tell her when I see her again.

Yang: We still like having you around boss! You should know exams will be coming next week!

Ruby: And after that comes graduation!

Naruto: Nice. Anyway, let's get some sleep. I'm tired.

RWBY: Good night, Naruto!

Naruto: Night, girls.

The following months happened soon after...

Team NRWBY and Team JHNPR plus all other teams finished their exams with flying colors. Ozpin said in his speech that he was proud of everyone that they had graduated and had earned their Hunter licenses.

Now both teams arrived in Ozpin's office soon after.

Ozpin: I am pleased that you all graduated with flying colors. As much as I'd like you to send you on your way, I must pull you to battle. The Ōtsutsuki's main base of operations is Haven and you all must go there and eliminate it for all of Remnant.

Naruto: Hinata and I can do it and so will our teams.

Ozpin: Excellent. Qrow shall accompany you to drive them back from Haven. Good luck to all of you.

Teams JHNPR and NRWBY had met up with Qrow outside of Beacon with a Bullhead.

Qrow: Hey Naruto! You've been making waves around here!

Naruto: You could say that!

Ruby: He's our leader too, Uncle Qrow!

Qrow: That's a lot of waves you're making. Jimmy won't shut up about how you've been helpful around Atlas. Anyway, get inside the Bullhead guys. I'll brief you inside.

Everyone went inside the Bullhead and it lifted off to Haven Academy.
