The sun was setting in a seemingly peaceful forest not too far from Beacontown. "Ahhhhh!!!" A girl yelled as it felt like she was being warped into a different universe. Her vision cleared, revealing a dense forest. She was alone and there was no civilization in sight. "What the? Where am I? Who am I?" She questioned. A strong light filled the air and she covered her eyes, wanting to shield them from what seemed like the brightest light she has ever seen. As the light dimmed, it revealed a cow. A cow! That was her precious Larry cow! And her name was Lindy! "But how did I get here, and why?" She asked herself. She didn't know much except she was injured, alone, lost, unarmed and the sun was setting. That was not a good combination. Lindy heard a spider hiss at her from under a bush.

"Are we there yet?" Jesse asked the group as the group walked through the forest in the pitch black of night, with only a torch to guide the way. "No! For the last time, we don't even know where it is! All I heard was that it was in the proximity of this forest, and may I remind you there is an extremely high chance we will never find it!" Ivor huffed. "Aww, is someone cranky?" Petra teased. "No, no, no!" Ivor grumbled. "Guys, maybe we should take a break. We've been out here for a long time, and I don't think it's doing us any favors." Lukas suggested. "No, not yet Lukas, we're close, I can feel it." Jesse hypothesized. Suddenly, in the distance, a very bright glow shone through the trees. Even though it was far away, it was blinding to look at. Everyone covered their eyes with their hands. "I can't see anything!" Ivor complained. "I don't know, but I've got a feeling that's what we're looking for!" Jesse said as she started inching her way in the direction the light came from. "So, I take we're just going to follow the glow, not even knowing how this thing works?!" Lukas exclaimed. "Well, I don't see you coming up with a better idea, Lukas." Petra stated. "Yeah, deal with it, blonde guy!" Ivor said. "Come on!" Jesse whispered as she waved the group along. Suddenly, the light died down. They looked at each other before moving on. There was still a way to go to the source of the light, but they cautiously continued. Once again, a blast of light came through the trees. "Ah! My eyes!" Petra yelled. "Can't see... anything." Lukas stuttered. After a few minutes, the light died down once again. The group slowly opened their eyes. "Well, that could have gone better." Lukas sighed. "Well, at least we're closer to what ever the heck this thing is." Jesse said, trying to sound positive. As they crept into the clearing where the light had come from, two silhouettes appeared. One appeared to be a woman, and the other, maybe a donkey?

Jesse POV

I walked closer to the light source, the rest of the group behind me. As we got closer, the silhouettes became clearer until they were no longer just silhouettes. I saw a lady, around our age, and a cow. She was visibly wounded and confused, much like the people who had wandered into Beacontown, but her injuries were far worse. She was dressed in a thin green cardigan with a lavender colored shirt, as well as dark blue jeans and black boots. She had long, dark brown hair and though I could tell her natural skin tone was pale, her skin had tanned from sun exposure. "Hi, I'm Jesse." I started off. "Wait, who are you again?" She questioned. "I'm Jesse, and this is Petra, Lukas and Ivor. We came to investigate after injured people with little or no memories kept wandering into Beacontown from this forest. She looked at us suspiciously, staying silent. "Jesse, look at her condition. And is that a spider bite on her arm?" Lukas whispered into my ear. I glanced at the woman's arm, which had green venom coating it and a gash oozing blood. That wasn't her only wound though, far from it. "Yeah, it looks like it, and it looks like she's not doing too good. Hey Ivor, you're supposed to be the potion genius, is there anything you can do to help her spider bite?" I asked. "Directly about the spider bite, no, it has been there too long for me to brew a potion to counteract the poisonous impact. The best we could do is a potion of healing, but I don't have one on me at this time, and her condition is so bad even that may not help anyways." Ivor responded. "Well, what are we waiting for, let's get her out of here!" Petra shouted. "I am not going anywhere!" The lady protested. "If you don't your injures are going to get worse!" Lukas argued. "I don't know who you are or where you came from, but I can handle myself just.." She gasped for her breath. "Just..." She broke out into a coughing fit. "No, you need help!" I said.
