3. Together For Christmas

Eddie's pov:
It was December 2, me and Steve had just started to decorate for Christmas. While Steve was a home getting out all the boxes for Christmas. I was out getting some garland, and a gift for Stevie. I always knew he was interested in sports like basketball or whatever the hell it was, but I was thinking my own thing. After watching a campaign of me and hellfire playing D&D he found interest and wanted to play. I was thinking of getting Steve his own set for D&D to play with us. Even Henderson has been complying to Steve that he wanted him to join hellfire.

I run into a store called 'Witches & Wizards'. It was practically my favourite store. It had everything I ever needed for D&D. I head to the back of the store picking up a few boxes and a set of dice. I go to the cashier placing it in the desk. 'Your total is 24.50$' the cashier spoke. 'Okay' I mumbled under my breath digging into my wallet. I pull out the money smiling and putting it in the tall desk that sat infront of me. After I push into my bag, I start walking to find my way out of the mall. God was I so excited for Christmas!

Steve's pov:
While Eddie was doing who knows what at the mall, I was digging in the through the boxes looking for the Christmas tree.

After about 5 minutes of searching I found the large tree that neatly went up to the ceiling. I pull it out starting to assemble it piece by piece.  I place the base of the tree near a corner by the window in the living room. Once I had finished putting up the tree. I went to go lay down in our bed while waiting for Eddie to come home.

30 minutes later - when Eddie got home

Eddie's pov:
I had finally arrived home, grabbing my keys and everything else I had in the back opening the house door. I put the stuff
Down on the kitchen table among side the D&D stuff was hidden. I had a weird feeling for that I wasn't greeted with Steve jumping onto me immediately asking how it went and giving me kisses. "Sweetheart?" I say walking through the home. I find that Steve is no where to be found downstairs which leaves me in somewhat of a panic. I check everywhere before I decide to head up stairs, I head to our room first seeing Steve fast asleep under the covers. I feel some relief in my body knowing that Steve was safe. "Stevieeee" I almost whisper walking towards the bed. I see his eyes start to somewhat flutter open. Once his eyes are completely open and he had process that I was home, Steve had jumped out of bed almost as fast as he could coming to jump on me wrapping his legs around his waist. "Hey! How was your trip?" Steve asks still holding onto me. "Good, busy as fuck. But I did get the garland." I say practically whispering while laying my forehead against his. We slowly kiss. it was slow, but passionate. It lasted for about 15 seconds before we broke apart and just stared at eachother for a bit. "I love you Ed's." "I love you too stevie". "Ready to go decorate?" "Yes!"
