. . .
IT WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF NIGHT,
Perhaps around 2:46 am when Aizawa got up from his bed to get a glass of water. And that was really all he had to do.
Go to the kitchen, get a glass of water, go back to bed.
So, tell him how he ended up in front of Izuku's room. The lights were on, creaking through the door cracks, and he hesitated to open the door with a sigh.
Even thinking about ignoring the light and just going to bed, Aizawa sighed again, his shoulder slumping before he slammed the door, entering the room with light steps.
He truly hoped that Izuku just forgot to turn the lights off, though all hopes died off when seeing the greenette figure on his bed, glasses on his face‒he wears glasses? –and a laptop on his lap.
"Izuku...?" Aizawa's almost hoarse voice whispered out to the greenette, and he internally cursed at his dry voice even after the glass of water. But hey, don't judge the pro hero; It was the middle of the night!
Izuku, who had his eyes on the laptop screen, raised his eyes, his furrowed eyebrows softening in surprise.
"Sorry, did I wake you up?"
Aizawa sighed again, before his eyes scanned over the room.
Papers scattered everywhere, a few plastic cups here and there, a few pens, toffee sleeping in the corner. [It reminded Aizawa of Nezu's security room...shivers.]
"Its...almost 3 am. Why are you awake, kid?" As Aizawa spoke, he noticed a cup floating in the air next to Izuku, shining cyan covering the cup—how did he miss that? —as it was slowly floating towards Izuku.
Aizawa sniffed the air.
"Is...is that coffee?"
Aizawa felt his energy coming back to life at the heavenly scent, his slouched back straightening as his eyes shine.
Izuku's eyes narrow.
Aizawa swiftly reached towards the floating coffee,
...Only to trip on his own feet as the floating coffee escaped his clutches, going right to Izuku's hand as it stopped glowing cyan.
Look...
Aizawa tried to catch himself.
He really tried.
