Three months and two weeks passed, and Jaime requested to change their room into a medium-sized room. Since no more monitoring machines have been attached to her wife. Unlike the first one, it's bigger with a fancier ambiance; she decided to change it more to feel more like home in atmosphere.
Jaime is trying to make herself cozy, especially since her baby bump is already noticeable. The room had this little space for a single person she decided to accommodate herself in. Sometimes in the middle of the night, when everything is quiet and she can't sleep, Jaime sneakily watches Tara on her bedside while Walter falls asleep on the couch. Jaime gently sat on her side and slowly took Tara's hand, trying to place her belly, which is visible as a baby bump, beside her while looking, sitting beside her hospital bed.
"Hey... Babe, can you feel it?she whispers with tearful eyes.
"You two gave me a reason to continue and fight this battle alone. I need to be healthy and strong for the baby, and I need to be mentally tough for you here seeing you like this. Last week I saw the news about the other patient whose in the scene the family decided to pull his life support. Causes his condition getting worse, even the doctors lose hope. I need to stay positive all alone, babe. All I can do is keep going as this belly kept growing too, and it needed a whole lot of me to continue," she said, looking her down where Tara's hand placed on her belly.
"And I wanted to say it's a girl... Me and Yansen, we took loads of pictures and videos for you to see one day so you won't miss anything.. so please, babe, wake up.. I really need you.. Tara.. Im dying to say this, I do really need you." Jaime begged on Tara while Walter, silently observing and looking in their direction, managed to wipe his tears.

"Hi baby, sis..."
"Stop calling me that Walter..." Jaime sounded in frustration and automatically punched her older brother on the shoulder while placing the food he brings on the table as he giggles to Jaime. He knows where to press the button to annoy her sister Jaime.
"How are you these days? Sorry, I wasn't able to visit by the weekends as I promised before," he said.
"Stop! You didn't promise, but don't mind it. What did you bring me, my beloved big brother?" Jaime asked.
"Before that, please answer the question about how are you?" he smiled, placing food on her plate.
"I'm good, a woman ticking time bomb walking around the hospital corridors in a span of three months. With her wife laying in the hospital bed waiting on her to wake up from sleep..." Jaime sarcastically poured her all the frustrations, the burden feeling, and the heaviness on him.
"Uh? I have a suggestion. Why don't you kiss her to wake up?" he grinned.
"If that works, I did that long ago, so we could go home and not spend my days as a pregnant woman here in a hospital." Jaime toss her table napkin over him, laughing.
"And not all princess needs to be saved, big brother," she added.
"I see no princess, my beloved sister," he sat across her.
"Then what?" Jaime said, taking a glimpse at Tara.
"A lover," he whispered, grinning.
"Hey, stop that! We're married for heaven's sake!" she said, pointing her ring finger in front of his face, but he never listened; instead, he keeps laughing at her.
"It's your birthday; let's celebrate this way. I know you don't like to be greeted on your birthday; it's weird, but you're my only sister; I'll make an exception," he said, drinking his coffee.
