"I'm gonna kill him," Billie said as she paced around her living room.

"It's not a big deal," Steve tried to reason with her.

"Your face is fucked," the brunette pointed out.

     "Gee, thanks." the boy said.

The two teenagers had been bickering for the last half an hour about Steve's injuries. The boy had told his friend everything that happened that afternoon, and he had to stop the girl from leaving the house and hunting Jonathan Byers down and throwing punches.

Billie stopped pacing around the room and looked at Steve one more time, "why can't I go after him again?"

"Becau-," the boy was interrupted by the doorbell.

Billie walked to the front door, and as she opened it she came face to face with an older man and woman, both dressed in formal clothes, and she didn't miss all of the black cars parked on the other side of the street. "Who are you?" She didn't dance around the question, not even trying to be polite.

"Hello," the woman offered her a fake smile, "may we come in?" She asked, as she did Billie heard the couch shift around her, and Steve's steps walking towards her.

"No," her response knocked the fake smiles off the people in front of her. "Who are you?" She asked again.

"I'm Mrs. Frazier and this is Dr. Brenner," the older woman pushed her way inside of the house. "I'm with Social Services," she told the two teenagers.

"Okay...," Billie said, still not sure why these people were here.

"We are looking for a little girl, she ran away from her home, and we believe you had contact with her," Dr. Brenner spoke for the first time. Billie and Steve didn't miss the way Mrs. Frazier and Dr. Brenner looked around, like they were looking for something.

"The little boy?" She lied. "Yeah, I saw him today in the main avenue," Billie looked at the two, waiting to see what their reactions would be.

"You gave her a ride," Dr. Brenner confirmed.

"You are with social services as well, Doctor?" She asked sarcastically, the brunette knew there was no way that man was with social services, none of them were.

"I'm with the Hawkins Department of Power and Light," he told her.

Billie nodded and looked at the two adults in front of her. She wanted those two out of her house as fast as possible. "Yeah, I gave him a ride. Brought him here, I was gonna make him some food, but when I turned around he was gone," she told both of them.

"She is a girl," Brenner told her, the anger in his voice made her smirk.

Billie stepped closer to the older man, "I don't care," she lied. "You obviously don't believe a word I say, you can look around," she told the two, who looked at her in surprise.
