Chapter 39

Thursday afternoon...

Wooyoung and I had just finished up with our classes so we went straight home to get ready for our dance session together. It only took us about 5 minutes to get ready as all we had to do was get changed.

Once we got to the dance room, we warmed up and stretched for about 15 minutes then began to choreograph the dance. We searched for a song earlier on in the day so we wouldn't take all of our time finding one now. We decided on a song called 'OH MY GAWD' by Mr Eazi and Major Lazer.

The song rhythm was easy to make a dance to but we wanted to add some fast paced and more complicated moves so it took more time than we thought it would. The two of us made mistakes every now and then but we just laughed it off instead of getting stressed. After all, it was only for fun and it isn't like we have a competition coming up.

We took a video of our dance but decided that something wasn't right with the choreography.

"How about we move our hips sideways for this part instead of forewords and backwards. I think it would look better that way." I thought out loud.

Good idea. Let's try it." Wooyoung agreed.

We went through the whole choreo again and it looked 10 times better. "That was a good shout." Wooyoung gave me a high five and brought me in for a hug. We practiced a few more times, trying to sync our moves better. It was a bit hard to have our moves in sync as Wooyoung was taller and our body proportions were different but we finally mastered it and decided to record it so we could evaluate it again.

After we finished, I dropped to the floor and Wooyoung stopped the recording. He then came over; joining me and lay beside me. All that could be heard in the studio was our panting.

I got back up off the floor and grabbed some water. I threw Wooyoung's water to him and he took a big gulp. The two of us then decided to watch the video.

I was over the moon with the outcome of the video and even though it was just for fun, it looked amazing. I was also happy that I got through the whole session without my leg hurting at all.

"How about we get something to eat on the way home? We haven't eaten anything since lunch time." Wooyoung spoke up.

The truth is, I haven't eaten a thing all day. Our lunch breaks were at different times today so Wooyoung didn't know that I missed lunch anyway and I was running late for classes this morning so I had no time to eat. I wasn't hungry until about ten minutes ago anyway so it doesn't matter. All that matters if filling my stomach up with food now.

"Sure! Let's freshen up and then we can go." The two of us went to the changing rooms, had a quick shower and got changed. I didn't bother washing my hair as I would do that when I get back to Wooyoung's. We then met up outside the changing rooms once we were done.

"Ready?" Wooyoung asked. I nodded and the two of us walked to find a restaurant or somewhere that sells food. There are many close by as the studio is in the town centre. We had finally decided to go to Isaac toast.
