Annalise
The next morning, I got up early to hit the books again. I was sitting at the kitchen table, nibbling on a pop tart, and drinking chocolate milk while I studied when my phone went off.
*Harry* Good morning, Darlin.' Are you hard at work studying yet?
*Annalise* Why yes I am, are you hard at work?
*Harry* Yes, I am, but just till twelve. Would you like to go to lunch with the lads and me?
*Annalise* Would love to! Where and what time? I'll meet you there.
*Harry* Applebee's. About 12:30, but don't give up on me if I'm not there by then, sometimes things run long. Just grab a table for seven and wait. Please!!
*Annalise* I can do that, just for you! See you soon then, bye. ;)
*Harry* Bye, Darlin'!
Ah, Harry, you are just the sweetest. I am so glad I met this guy, I thought, as I sat there smiling at my phone!
"What's with the Cheshire cat grin you got going on love?" Asked Mom as she walked in and grabbed a coffee cup from the cupboard.
"Just thinking about a cutie from Cheshire, that I'm gonna see for lunch," I told Mom with a smirk.
"Oh, really, two dates in two days. It must be serious."
"Oh, it is. In fact, maybe I'll let him kiss me today if he's good," I said, winking at mom, while I put my books in a pile, then ran off laughing before she could say anything.
"Oh, you are a cheeky thing aren't you!" she yelled after me.
Looking at the clock, I saw I had plenty of time. So, I took my shower and dressed. Since I was going to meet the guys, I was a little nervous. I wonder what they are all like, and if they will like me.
Finally, it was time to go, so grabbing my purse and keys I told mom goodbye and headed out the door. Ten minutes later, I was pulling into the parking lot at Applebee's and trying to calm my nerves. Getting out I looked around but didn't see a car that looked like Harry's, so I went on in.
"How many are in your party?" the girl in front of me holding menus asked.
Looking around quickly, I didn't see Harry. So, I knew they weren't here yet. I looked back at the girl who was standing patiently waiting on me and opened my mouth to speak when the door dinged behind me, and she looked behind me. Turning slightly, I saw Harry coming in and smiled. Turning back to the girl, I told her, "Seven please."
"Hello, darlin'," Harry said coming up to put his arm around me as we followed our hostess. "The others are coming, just a little slower, and Zayn is going to get Tammy," Harry explained as the hostess seated us.
"Okay. Hope they aren't too long I'm starving!"
"Hello, I'm Cassie. I'll be your waitress. May I get you something to drink?"
"Yes, please," I said looking up at her, I'll take a sweet tea," Harry asked for the same.
"Do you know what you want?" Harry asked me after the waitress left.
"Oh, yeah! I want a steak, baked potato, green beans, a side salad with Italian dressing, and strawberry cheesecake for dessert. Yum, yum!"
Harry raised his eyebrow at me as if to say, 'Really?' I giggled a little, but hey, I like to eat!
"I like this girl already, Harry," a voice behind us commented, causing us both to turn.
Harry rolled his eyes and said, "Of course you do, Niall because she isn't afraid to eat like that last girl you dated. What was her name? Tiffany? I believe all we ever saw her eat was salad and celery."
