Not Today ( Riff Lorton x OC )

Chapter 1

New York, during the 1950's is currently a battle field for 2 dangerous gangs,
The jets and the sharks.

Hidden among the rubble, Ice open a trapdoor (idk either) and hands the three other jets paint cans then climbs up with the help of Action. A-Rab, Diesel, Action, and Ice snap their fingers and move towards a crane while their leader, Riff Lorton pops out with his girlfriend Graziella. He kisses her then helps her down. She walks by Ice who whistles and turns to her, "jets!" Riff says and catches their attention. He smirks while they hand him a paint can. The jets walk down the streets of New York while Riff whistles to get all the other jets to follow. They dance a bit and some steal paint brushes. They finally get to the basketball court with the Puerto Rico Flag painted on it. Anybodys comes up and Riff comes up to him and says "beat it" then the other jets walks past him. The jets then start to scatter paint all across the wall m, having a good time. Some of the sharks spot them and run to stop them from messing up their painted flag anymore.

Anybody whistles to warn the jets and they all start to fight and split up in 3-4 groups. Baby John gets cornered by some sharks and he climbs the fence to escape, but the sharks pull him down. "JETS" he screams as they pin him down.the other jets climb the fence to help and the other sharks all start to fight again. Bernardo, leader of the sharks and Riff, leader of the jets spot each other and make their way to each other through the chaos, moving the other jets and sharks away. Just when they were about to punch each other, the cop sirens and yells from the cops split them up. "All right now, all you separate!" Sergeant Krupke yells. The sharks and jets both separate from each other while krupke walks between them.

"You're driving me to my grave, ya pack of jackals." Krupke says. "Watch yourself, Sergeant Krupke, you're gonna inflame your asthma, shouting like that." Riff says while pulling out a cigarette and the other jets laugh at his comment. "Why don't you leave the Puerto Ricans alone, Riff? Christ almighty. And you lot, you're in New York now. You got a problem, you call the cops. Youse can't play at being cops yourselves." Krupke says, turning to the sharks. "Pero we call the cops, you show and arrest us! You're never around when these hijueputas (I'm so sorry, I don't know Spanish, I'm just copying the subtitles from the movie) mess up our stores and our streets." Bernardo says and Ruff cuts him off "See, I get confused when you say "our streets", seeing how these streets are ours by right being born here, amigo." " The Jets!" Mouthpiece adds. While Bernardo says something in Spanish, Riff cuts him off again by saying "How many times do I gotta tell you, Bernardo? I don't speak spic." That makes Bernardo try to jump at Riff, but officer Krupke blocks him while the other sharks and jets try to swing at each other.

However, a whistle blows and the gangs back off and look to find Lieutenant Schrank walking towards them. "Jesus wept, Baby John. Who did that to your ear" Schrank says while turning baby John towards the sharks. "Which one of them nailed you?" He says and turn baby John to a shark member. Lieutenant Schrank sees his head bloody and says "Who cracked your head open, hombre?"  (Again, I am so sorry, please forgive me) the shark members starts talking "A mí no pregunten nada." " In English" Schrank cuts him off. "Same guy who nailed your ear, maybe?" Another shark member says. "Maybe. I don't remember." Baby john says. "I realize if any of you helps me out, you might spoil your chance to murder each other over control of this earthy paradise." Schrank says.

" the Jets control it and you know it." Balkan interferes. " uh-huh, yeah, but golly gee, Balkan, not according to the New York City Committee for slum Clearance, which has decided to pull this whole hellmouth down to the bedrock, and you're in the way." Schrank says while getting in Balkans face then turning and pointing the the sharks. He then yanks the nail out of baby johns ear causing him to shudder in pain. Schrank whistles while holding the bloody nail then throwing it to Bernardo, who catches in one swift motion. "Nice reflexes, muchacho. So, any day now, all of you are gonna be evicted. You'll have to "vamoose," as we say in Spanish." Schrank says.
