Not Today ( Riff Lorton x OC )

Chapter 13

I saw Tony and Bernardo fighting!
My brother fighting a gang leader!
Again!
This isn't going to end well....
I have to stay here. Tony said.
BUT WHAT IF HE DIES?!
My thoughts are interrupted when I see Tony beating Bernardo over and over again just like he did the night he went to jail.

As I was about to go over there, Tony stands up and walks away...
Huh...
IM SO PROUD OF HIM!
However, my happiness is shut down when I see riff and Bernardo pull out knives.
They are now attacking each other, both scared to actually stab one another as well as scared of being stabbed them selves.
All the jets and sharks are quiet.
I begin to get up and walk over there, ignoring Anybodys calls for me to stay.
Nobody notices me yet, too busy on the fight.
Tony walks over as well and when Riff is pushed into the crowd, Tony grabs him.
"That's enough, buddy-"
"Tony! Tony! Let go. LET GO!" Riff says but then is accidentally pushed into Bernardo's knife.
.............
Silence.....
.............
It's all silent until one scream breaks it.

"RIFF" I scream.
I then run over while riff is sinking to the floor.
"Lucy...?" He says, wide eyed.
I grab his head and put it on my lap.
Everyone is dead quiet.
Bernardo looks shocked and filled with regret.
Tony is filled with anger and sorrow.
The jets are filled with sadness and confusion.
The sharks are filled with shocked expressions.
Riff is filled with pain.
And I could just fill a whole pool with tears.

Question: do you guys wanted longer chapters but you'll have to wait more or shorter chapters you don't have to wait as much?

We are so close with finishing the story!
