I tossed a pillow against the wall in frustration. "Stupid bastard!" I yowled, crossing my arms as I sat back on the edge of my bed. It was night now, the previous events of today playing in my head.
"We had a moment, and you didn't even think about kissing me!" I shouted to myself, clawing at my cheeks. Levi hadn't tried anything, and I was mad at him for that. I wanted him to realize that I was being serious, but even the, "brilliant Captain" is too dense for romance.
My gaze shifted over to the other side of the bed where I had folded his jacket. I had forgotten to return it.
Then an idea struck me.
This was the perfect opportunity.

Tell Me
-
I knocked three times, his light visible from the crack under the door. I saw his shadow walk up, and he opened it to look at me. He blinked."What is it?"
I held up the jacket. "Here."
He took it. "Thanks..."
I glared at him, turning to walk away. "That's all. Goodnight."
Levi grabbed my arm. "Wait-" He looked down. "You... Don't want to stay?"
My chest fluttered. My plan had worked! I mischievously hid my grin, huffing at his words. "Do you want me to stay?" I asked.
Levi opened the door wider. "Just come in."
So I did, wandering over to his desk. He shut the office door and leaned against it. "You have a certain look on your face," He said. "What are you up to?"
"You always have that same look on your face and you're never up to anything," I shrugged.
"Tch." He grumbled.
"But if you must know," I said, looking him up and down. His shirt was unbuttoned on the top, his chest slightly revealed. He wore pants that hugged his waist attractively, and I forced myself to peel my eyes away.
"I'm mad at you."
"Mad at me?" He repeated, folding his arms. "Care to explain why?"
"Oh I'd be delighted," I scoffed.
I sat on the desk, folding a leg over the other, eyes blazing into Levi.
"First, you corner me in the stables and ask me if I fancy you," I held up my fingers to count all the things he did. "Then, I responded bravely and spilled my feelings and you took it as a joke!" I slipped off the desk, walking up to him. "Then I tell you you're good looking, and you didn't even think of saying anything!"
At this point, my face was inches from his, perhaps even centimeters. I could see every detail of his face as he smirked, and I leaned back in curiosity. "What are you smiling for?"
Levi was still against the door, and he leaned his head back as his smirk grew deeper. He then tipped his head down to look at me, eyes glinting with desire. I was breathless.
"I didn't take it as a joke," He began stepping towards me, and I backed up until I ran into his desk, leaning back onto it. "I just didn't want to do it in the stables."
My jaw dropped. "Do what?!"
"Kiss you," He said, raising a brow like he was aware I was thinking of something else. "What do you think all these candles are for?" He gestured over to the candles strewn around the room. I looked up at him, exasperated. "How-"
"I knew you'd come back to return the jacket," His smirk did things to me, and I dug my nails into the corners of the office desk, heart trying to escape the confinement of my chest. I couldn't help but laugh. "Did you unbutton your shirt to seduce me?" I looked him up and down, giggling.
He frowned, telling me all I needed to know.
"Well," I said, using both of my hands to grab the loose shirt, pulling him in. "It's working."
The Captains smirk faded into my lips, both of us moving in sync. His lips pressing against mine was soft yet rough, and I could taste every bit of him. Once we parted, we were both out of breath, panting as we gazed into eachothers eyes passionately. He kissed me again, hand on my cheek as he pinned me down on the desk with the other. His hair hung down as he peered down at me, making him all the more attractive. His hand slid from my cheek over my body, stopping at my waist.
I was in another land entirely, enveloped in a loving embrace. Levi was pressed against me, continuing to kiss me without a moments rest. My fingertips tingled with excitement, but I pushed Levi away before things got too far.
"Easy Captain," I spoke flirtatiously. "You should take a lady out first before hitting second base," I winked, and he released me with a roll of his eyes.
I cleaned myself up, fixing my hair as I stood, giving Levi a deep look. "Goodnight, Captain."
I buttoned his shirt before stepping over to the door, watching how he shakily sat in his chair as I left. Once I had left, my legs went weak. My fingers touched my lips, remembering how Levi's had felt against them.
I cheekily ran down the halls, holding in shrieks of joy.
I had just kissed Humanities Strongest. The Humanities Strongest.
I trembled with the memory, biting my lip.
I can't believe that had just happened.|>>>>|
I parted my hair neatly in the mirror, ensuring my shirt wasn't wrinkled anywhere before I left my room. I had a smile that sat cheesily on my face as I walked down the corridors and over to the Mess Hall, entering and grabbing a bowl of breakfast. Out of the corner of my eyes I saw Levi sitting with Hange and Commander Erwin. Hange was the only one eating, but the three of them usually came here in the mornings if Levi felt like joining them.
I sat down beside Hange, directly across from Levi. His eyes went round, then returned to their normal narrowed form.
"Morning Y/n!" Hange greeted in her bubbly tone.
"Morning Hange," I replied. "Good morning to you too, Commander," I nodded over to Erwin, who smiled at me in response. I then turned to Levi, grinning. "Levi." I acknowledged him curtly, playing things cool.
"Well don't be rude, Levi! Say hello back," Hange growled, kicking him under the table as she noticed his silence. Levi groaned. "Goodmorning."
I placed a spoonful of oats in my mouth. "So...? Do you guys not talk over here?" I muttered, mouth full. Hange shook her head. "Well these two are quite boring as you can tell, but I talk about lots!"
"Like what?" I asked. I probably shouldn't have.
"Titan experiments and whatnot. I'll leave out the details for now, these two get grumpy if I talk for too long," Hange grumbled. I pat her supportively on the back.
"Oh! Speaking of talking," I turned to Levi, who looked at me curiously when I spoke. "Levi, when are you going to take me on that date you promised me?"
Hange exploded. "Ah!" She jumped. "I knew it! You two had something going on behind our backs this whole time!"
Levi's mouth was open, not expecting me to just admit to it like that. "Y/n, what are you-"
"Date?" Erwin chimed in. "Levi, is this true?"
Levi took a moment, glaring before nodding.
"I see," The Commander shrugged. "I have no complaints if that's why you brought it up."
This guy was smart.
I wanted to make sure he wouldn't have us locked up as punishment for falling for eachother on the job. I gave Levi a victorious smile. He shyly looked down at the table.
"Well, I've got things to do. I'll be off," I picked up the bowl, heading off. I could hear Hange yelling behind me.
"You can't just leave like that! Levi- tell me everything! I must know!"I heard him curse her off as she grabbed his shoulders and shook him repetitively, trying to get answers.
I tossed the bowl away, gazing back at Levi, watching as he fought to escape Hange's prodding. I suppressed a laugh.
Levi was now an even bigger part of me.
And I would never be able to live without him.
