// ["religion" ] // diary ?? // :

Mr. Drew took a group of other men down to the studio's basement tonight.

The task seemed like it was supposed to be done secretly, but really-, it was plainly obvious.
Perhaps him and the others didn't know I was still here, working on remaining frames.
I would've probably haven't even noticed if it wasn't for their obnoxious whisper-yelling.

I could hear everything one said to another when walking passed me.

I had originally thought it was a robber, or something terrible who was breaking into the studio since it was at such a late hour.

// arugement // :

tw : angst , throwing , slapping , unnecessary screaming , trauma - usage , homophobia , little girl witnessing her parents argue , acting victim .

The little girl remained still, peeking her head and eyes around the corner, watching silently as her parents broke out into an argument.

Her mother had told her to be a good girl and go to bed since it was late at night, especially for a school night. And she should have her "beauty rest" to be more "smart" tomorrow for school.
Whenever she woke up; she never felt different. She knew it was a lie, she wasn't so dumb.

She knew her parents weren't getting along as much anymore because of her father's friends.

Her mother wasn't quite fond of the two. If she remembered correctly, their names were Sammy and.. Nathan.. ? No, No.. Noman.. Norman. Yeah! Sounds about right.

An erupt sound emitted from the living room causing the little girl to focus her eyes on the scene before turning away.

Her mother seemed to have slapped her father.

Why would she ever do such a thing..?, Harm to the one she loved..not loves. Her mother didn't mean to intentionally harm him, right?..

She had heard the sound and saw her mother take her hand back to herself and put it back to her side. And that's when the little girl turned away, just now listening.

"Hopefully that knocked some sense into you. You've been lacking a lot of that recently, don't pretend like since you're the man, you run the relationship!, I get a say in this, too, you know!" The woman screamed at the man, acting as if he had actually acted the way she seemed to make him be.

Looking at his ex-wife's eyes, letting the slap slowly disappear as if it hadn't happen. Maybe it wasn't there, it still hurt like hell, way worse than hell.

"I- I wasn't, Linda- and I understand that you get a say in this, too! They're my friends, and you know that! I can't just stop being friends with them for a silly reason as that- I.. just don't see what's so wrong with it, I mean- they're so ha--" He replied back, trying to get straight to his point which was successful as she seemed more pissed off than she was before.

"No! Don't you see it?! They're fucking queer, Henry! You, of all people, should know that isn't allowed in the Eyes of Heaven. It honestly disgusts me knowing you are friends with them to begin with!" She yelled.

// slow forgiveness // kinda based off batdr // :

saying this now, this might not be cannon.
but does most certainly include spoilers.

Standing in front of the kitchen counter, Henry looked the very same man who has decieved multiple people and have yet have the audacity to still look at him straight in the eyes as he approached the counter, watching as Joey Drew, himself make what was assumed to be tea.

Knowing what was to happen next, Henry observed the man a bit more before finally speaking up,

"Why?"

a soft, cracked voice asked.

Startled, the old man soon realized the voice must've belonged to his old pal, funny how he recognizes it as clear as day for Henry was often a quiet man, at least- he's never spoke once at this scene during any other loops.

Setting the tea bag into the tea kettle, he smiled to himself and grabbed the handle of the kettle, slowly turning himself around.

Henry was getting more and mkre curious by the second, and was most likely more pissed off than ever. Presumably, he never knew he could speak here. Unless.., he did, and he cracked right here and now.

Joey Drew wouldn't blame the poor man, he has been trapped in the studio for a while now.. doing the same loops over and over again, non-stop. Just for his satisfaction, his desire for revenge.

He watched as Henry's eyes flicked around the small apartment - like house until finally settling on him.
It was like he was waiting for Drew's response, had he not thought Joey could hear him? As if, he was just speaking in his thoughts?

Joey Drew looked back down at his teacup, moving the teabag around a bit before moving his eyes to look up at Henry, the very man in front of him.

Drew smiled,
beginning his regular speech, he saw a glimmer in the other man's eyes that were still hopeful for an answer; yet not expecting one.

Halfway through, he heard a sigh from the man in front of him and started walking his way to the "exit" door, knowing well it would begin the loop over again, sending him back to the same place.
Joey carefully watched as the doorknob twisted and twirled slowly.
He knew the man had hope, and that hope was keeping him here a bit longer.

"Look.., Henry," his voice was rough and sounded as if it needed to be cleared. He didn't sound much like this before, had he? Or was it just now he realized how he actually sounded?

Henry Stein's shoulders tensed at the unexpected voice.

Waiting for a response, he soon realized he wasn't going to get one and continued on.

He had very well realized how much damage he has caused to himself and others, how he caused them to suffer just for his revenge. All because of Stein leaving the studio, abandoning.

Looking to the side instead of at the back of the man, "I'm sorry." was the only thing that slipped out of his mouth.

Henry kept his head forwards and kept his hand still, on the handle, and glanced back at the old man.
This was certainly new.

"..Henry, please. Do sit down in the 'living room' and we can chat about it around tea.. I think it'd do you much better than to go back out there so soon,"

He just stood there. Feeling the knob of the door strat getting warmer due to the warmth of his hand, he let go.
His hand made his way down to remain at his side as he mumbled to himself.

hihi, so this was supposed to be published new years but i forgot , <3
