Watching as the body fell limp to the newly fresh blood-stained marble floor.

What a shame, the floor was elegant. Sad how such a poor low-lifer's body had to color it.

At least red was somewhat of a nice colour, he supposes. Maybe it doesn't look half that bad..

Lifting his knife to his eye-view, he observed the blood, some small guts that were forced onto the once clean knife. He didn't care much to clean the knife as no one would find out about the whole scenario, besides. He casually stuffed the knife back into his pant pocket, not even caring to try and hide it.

He didn't need to, had no reason to.

Roaming his eyes over the mangled-up body, he bent down to the floor and took out a newly sharpened pencil and put it up to their chest, right where the heart should be.

Tracing an enlarged heart; a decorative one. The cutesy ones, he didn't wish for the people who would find the body to suffer, so why not add something cute?

After tracing, he had finally cut open a heart-shaped hole into the body. Now, all he had to do was simply remove it and take the actual heart out.

Doing as his thoughts were showing, not telling. He used visuals a lot more than audio. He found it to be just easier. The imagination can lead to anything, anything.

Once done, he carefully place down the tools he had used for the carving and removing, and used his now free, bloody hands to carefully hold the heart.

He gently caressed the heart which was once beating inside a human's body, but now.. the heart was free. Squeezing it slightly as to not make it burst, he let it sit in one hand while the other managed and struggled to open a zip-lock bag.

Wasn't sure if it would fit, but then again; there's only one way to find out..

Well measurements, or just stuffing it mindlessly in there.

No, no! He couldn't do that. The heart had to be perfect, not that he think it'd taste very good since it came from such a pathetic waste of breathe.

Turns out, he was able to fit the heart in the small bag, somehow.

...

He slowly stood up as he heard 'footsteps' approaching the room.

That must be his love now! Coming to congratulate him, perhaps? Or even to appreciate his efforts!

Turning around as the door opened, the love of his life entered the room, observing everything.. everything.

The creature let out a sadistic smile once done looking which deemed Henry that his love was very pleased with his work.

"Am I just tha' charmin' that you went through all of this trouble just for me, dear?"

Nodding his head, he allowed the ink-like creature to approach him and wrap his arms around him.

He wasn't scared. He wasn't annoyed. He didn't flinch. He wasn't harmed. He wasn't in danger.

"Oh! And uh, I got you something. I figured you would like it.." Henry says as they both retracted from the position they were in so he could show his beloved demon the heart.

The Ink Demon smirked and took the bag with the heart and opened it, almost practically ripping it.

Henry knew he'd enjoy the snack he had gotten him.
Henry knows everything about him.. at least, that's what he thinks.

Watching as him wonderful creation ate at the heart, spilling blood everywhere.
It wasn't that big of a deal, anyway.

After he finished the heart, he simply held onto Henry again. Held him in his arms.

It wasn't obvious if it was a way to show his gratitude or not, but Henry didn't mind.

He enjoyed being held by him.

Only him.

You know, Joey. Sometimes you were a dickhead.. but you actually held some useful advice.

Dreams do come true.
