EPILOGUE
Two years later...
Okay, guys, this is it. I'm twenty-one years old now, and this is the day when I officially become Mrs Colton.
Oh, bloody hell. I still can't believe that this is really happening I'm serious it's crazy. Not only is it crazy, but since meeting Jaxon, my life has been pretty crazy, but in a good way. Yet before him, now that was crazy. Sure, I had fun, but I knew it wouldn't continue. I knew what I wanted for my life, it's just sad my old best friend, couldn't see it too.
Zealous-Junior Dalton, my first big crush.I've seen him around town and he seems to be getting his shit together. From what I'm hearing, he's doing great with his artworks too. Apparently, he'd taken after his Dad and began sculpting. So I'm pretty proud of him, and hopefully I'll one day get to see them.
Sadly though, I've not really spoken to him. I mean, we've said hello in passing, but it's sad. We were good friends. Well, good party friends anyway. Yet what's truly sad is that he was there for me when my Grand-pops passed away. He was amazing while he held me, and allowed me to cry it out on his shoulder. Shortly after the funeral though, I didn't see him. He pretty much found a party and left me behind so that he could go to it.
To be fair though, I really wasn't in the mood to see him, so I wasn't bothered much.
So I guess you could say we both away from each other. Well, you all know when I saw him after that. Maybe my cutting him out of my life was a good thing? Maybe now he can pull his shit together, too? I don't know. I hope so. I truly do. I'd really hate for him to live his life like that. Never finding true love or finding it and throwing it away, especially away on a party. Na, I couldn't do it. I guess it's up to him now. I mean, our time had come and gone. Sadly, the cost was our friendship. So what have we been up to? Aside from planning our special day, we're commuting from up north, to London, then to other parts of the country. Since Jax's playing for England, life's been pretty hectic, even more now since I've gone solo with my photography. I still work for Carson, but it's only with big games and promotions, but other than that I'm pretty much freelance. I sell my pictures to the highest bidder - mostly to mags and the newspapers. It helps my hubby to be, is hot as hell, so I get all his exclusive shots.
So yeah, it's made us a bit of money. Jax also made quite a lot since he went "pro." Hence how this wedding is finally happening now. He had his stag-due last week, but since I don't have many girlfriends I decided to invite just a few of the girls out from my family. Only Jax and his buddies decided it would be fun to crash the party.
To be fair, I was missing him so I'm glad they did. The funniest thing was how they all dressed as Hulk Hogan. I almost pissed my pants laughing so hard.
My aunts were pretty happy about it too. You know, with them turning up. You see; my aunt Lina may have mentioned a while back that she and Garret had a thing going.
Yeah, I know, it shocked me too, but it really didn't surprise me. You could feel the tension when they met. It was bound to happen.
I just feel sorry for her now-ex. He's the one who got shit on, but from what she tells me, they weren't getting along. But still, I think she should've ended it first instead of going after Garret. Anyway, it's not my business. The same goes, for Gaby too. Well, she was "eye-raping" Dawson for a few hours that night. So it won't surprise me if something happens there too.
By this point, we were all back at my place to carry on with the party. Only Jax and I left them and headed for our room where I gave him the best lap dance he'd ever had. Well, that's what he said, so I'm taking it.What else has happened? Oh yeah, do you remember my good friend, Norm? Well, he and Charlie finally tied the knot and they're expecting their firstborn in a few weeks' time. I know, how fabulous is that?
Oh boy, I'm so happy things worked out for them. Something great came out of all that mess, even getting asked to go back to college. Yep, after I went to Norms place that night, my old tutor had called to tell me the news. Sadly, I declined the offer. I was already making a name for myself. Plus, I missed out on so much work. I doubt I'd catch up.
He understood of course, especially when I told him what I'd been up to since getting booted out.
