The lines between love and hate had always been blurry. It was with Aemond, and it certainly was with her father as well. Though Baela finds herself more disappointed than hateful toward Daemon. She used to be his favorite daughter, he had said so himself. But now he had Rhaenyra and he had a son too. A son who was more Valyrian in blood than she could ever hope to be. She was bitter, she doesn't try to hide that." Where have you been?"
When Baela finds her sister waiting in her chambers that night, she masks her surprise with a smile. " I was off riding"
" You know that father wouldn't approve" Rhaena looks utterly disappointed at her sister. " The weather in kingslanding hasn't been good for the past couple of days, it is dangerous Baela "
" You worry too much. I have ridden moondancer through storms in Driftmark"
Her sister already knows. The stories of Baela's adventures must have sailed to dragon stone. Her father most definitely would find them amusing. It was too bad she won't be able to live her life on her terms once she settles in kingslanding. Kingslanding....she couldn't help but think back on that strange event that occurred.
" Rhaena, have you heard of another Red Keep existing outside of kingslanding?"
" There is no such place" Rhaena doesn't hesitate in answering. " I have read countless books and there are no mentions of another Red Keep"
" Then, do you think one can catch a glimpse of the future?"
" Baela, are you certain you are well?" Rhaena asked while giving her a worried gaze. She knows then not to ask any more questions that would give her away. Her twin knows her better than Baela knows herself and she doesn't want Rhaena to find out anything. Not when she doesn't know how to make out what she had seen herself.
" I am well sister, I only need to rest"
" Then I shall leave you to it. Have a goodnight" Rhaena rises to her feet and makes her way out of the chambers. It was already very late so Baela didn't waste time stripping down her clothes and getting into her nightwear.
She lays on her bed with her eyes closed and her mind filled up with thoughts of the boy she had met. Joffrey...Joffrey Baratheon. Not a Targaryen. No grey hair, no dragon. How lucky.
What kind of King was he? She wished she could have found out more about the strange world she had stumbled onto.

Baela had barely managed to doze off when she was awakened by a loud shuffling noise outside her door. With her fully awaken now and her curiosity getting the best of her, she knows she wouldn't be able to fall back asleep until she solved the mystery of what ( or who) was making such loud noises outside her door at the dead of the night.
The dragon rider shuffled to her feet and headed for her door. She cared very little about safety precautions at the moment as she pulled the door open without many thoughts. The first thing she noticed was the short grey hair that almost matched hers.
Aegon Targaryen was sprawled flat right outside her door. His face was against the ground so she found it hard to tell whether he was conscious or not. What she did notice was the high stench of alcohol wafting off of him. He looked and smelt disgusting. She wanted to kick him hard. Aegon spoke up in a hoarse voice however before she could give in to her thoughts. Ah, so he was conscious after all.
" Cousin..what a wonderful evening it is" he slurred, Baela rolled her eyes.
" It's nighttime "
" Could you..maybe help be up? I can't feel my legs"
