Chapter 5 - Super Simp Syndrome - Male POV

"I'm not scared of you." Junjie stated smugly.
"Then prove it." Jack smirked. A few seconds later, Jack felt something pierce her abdomen. She looked down and saw a shimmering blade protruding out from her stomach. "Where's the tough guy act now? Y/N will always be mine. He couldn't love a freak like you.."

Jack felt the lovestruck rage flow through her. She pulled the knife out with a sinister grin. "𝕊𝕠 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕥'𝕤 𝕙𝕠𝕨 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕟𝕒 𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕪? 𝕆𝕜𝕒𝕪. 𝕎𝕖'𝕝𝕝 𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕪 𝕓𝕪 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕣𝕦𝕝𝕖𝕤.." Something possessed Jack. Something otherworldly. Something completely evil..

Jack rushed at Junjie with the knife in hand, pinning her to a wall in the process. It was as if she had completely forgotten about her pain and how she felt after the knife impaled her. Her eyes shone bright red, almost seeming to burn a hole in Junjie's neck with intensity. "Why don't we fight properly, huh?" With that, Jack dropped the knife to the floor with an echoing clatter. "If only you hadn't come to my house... I could have gotten everything done sooner. Now, all I need is my Y/N." Junjie stared up at Jack, a tired expression etched onto her face. 'Y/N.. Y/N...' The name echoed in her head.

She let go of Junjie. "Throw the first punch, you dog! Let's do this!" Jack grinned. Junjie slowly rose off the ground, her eyes never leaving Jack's. The two stared each other down for several seconds before the fight began. Junjie lunged forward first, striking out with a powerful punch, which collided hard with Jack's jaw. Jack fell onto the ground, clutching her cheek. Before Jack could get back up though, Junjie grabbed her by her collar and yanked her upward into the air. She threw another blow, this time hitting Jack directly on her nose, breaking it. Blood dripped steadily from the tip.
"You're so weak..." Junjie growled.

"Fuck.. I'm not playing anymore, bitch! You wanna die?!" With that statement, Jack pushed her assailant backwards which sent him stumbling backwards. "Give up on Y/N!" Junjie yelled.

Jack began to tear up slightly. "You don't know how I feel for him.." As soon as those words left Jack's mouth, she regretted them. He should never tell anyone about her feelings; it could lead to her death one day. Yet, Jack knew she couldn't keep this bottled up inside forever. She felt himself getting angry again.

"He doesn't love you back you idiot!! Just accept that he'll always choose me over you." At last, Junjie finally said what made Jack snap entirely. "Fuck you.." Suddenly her vision went dark. She felt her body move on its own as she heard Junjie's cries and wails. When she awoke, she found Junjie lying next to her, blood pooling beneath her limp body. She was barely breathing. She looked like a downed animal.

Jack was shocked, but began smiling.

"Don't worry, Jack. That was a fair fight.." Jack looked up to see who was talking to him. It was.. her. "Jack.. I mean me..? Wait.. you're a guy?"

"Why the hell am I so weak?" The Other Jack spoke back to her. "Plus, what's wrong with an alternate you? There's two of you now!"

"I- I.. I just didn't expect another me. But... You killed her? Why?"

The Other Jack smirked wickedly. "So I'm not supposed to help me? Bullshit. Junjie's gone now. Y/N is in that closet over there."

Jack got up and hugged The Other Jack. As soon as Jack released him, he disappeared.
"Thank you.. I don't know what I would do without you." She picked up the knife she had dropped earlier.

It was time to send a message to Junjie. She approached the barely alive girl, clutching the knife which dug into her palm, drawing blood. She carved some letters into Junjie's forearm, "LOVE U Y/N" in bold letters. Once finished, she stood there, watching the crimson liquid run freely across her arms until the blood stopped.
