The next day, I brought Lily to the diner with me. I
always do this every Saturday while I don't have any
work on Sundays. But at the club I have. everyone
in the diner knows and loves Lily and she's not
messing around like most kids. She will just sit there
and draw something with the papers and crayons
that I will brought there with her.

So when I arrived in the diner earlier than I usually
come, there are just a few customers around.

"Hi, Lily!" Bam greeted her and raised his hand
for her.

Lily enthusiastically high five him. "Good morning,
Bam!" She cheerfully greeted.

"Good morning to you too, sweetheart." He greeted
back and then turned to me. "The boss is not around
again."

I crinkled my nose in disgust. "It's better if he's not
around."

"Cai is not here?" Lily asked, looking up to me.

I nodded at her. "Yes, baby."

"Is he dead?" She asked innocently.

"I hope so." Bam murmured and laughed.

Idiot. I grabbed Lily's hand as we head to the back
where I played my bag and her bag. "Momma,
can we go to the park tomorrow?"

"Why? You want to play?" I questioned, taking her
hand once again and went back to the diner. I sat
her down on the stool as I stood next to Bam at the counter.

"Yep, I missed playing outside." She answered.

"Okay then. Your wish is my command, princess." I
playfully kissed her forehead and hugged her tightly.

I just want to hug my daughter right now all day
because she is so cute.

The table bell rings telling us that there is a meal that
needs to be served. I was the one who volunteered
to do it. "Table three, coming right up!" I declared
and taking the tray of breakfast meals. “Stay here,
okay?" I told Lily that was sitting on the counter
with Bam. She nodded and nodded went back to chat
with him.

I served the meals at the people who ordered them
in table three. They are just a group of unfamiliar
men who looks like who just finished a workout at the gym.

"Hey, Lisa." Jeng called when I finished with the
serving.

"Yeah?"

"You have a phone call." She pointed her thumb at the back.

I nodded and went to answer it. "Hello?"

"Ms. Manoban?" A unfamiliar woman asked on the
other line.

"Who is this?" I questioned with my eyebrows
touching as I sound polite as I can to whom who is
speaking to me on the phone.

"This is Trisha."
