When the club closes at 4 am, I received many job well done from everyone. Rose even pulled me into a tight hug and congratulated me. They told me how much they enjoyed me performing. They are all happy for me.
And I don't know if I should be happy as well for myself.
Singing is something that I really deprive myself from doing. It was out of my comfort zone.
I already had my coat on and ready to go home because I said my goodbyes to Rose and the others.
When I left the club, I saw a tall figure standing there in front of a expensive looking car. He turned around and it was not other than Jungkook again.
I blinked multiple times and didn't know if I should approach him or just pass him. But now that he noticed me, I don't have a choice but to greet him.
"Are you going home?" He asked because I was planning to ask the same question.
I nodded and buried my hands deeper in the pockets of my coat because it is very cold out here. "Yeah, you too?"
"You're walking alone?" He asked. "There are no more bus or taxi than goes around this hour especially in this area.
"Yep, my place is not that far from here." I replied, stepping away from him.
"I'll drive you home." He offered. "Where do you live?"
"Just around the Broadway Street." I answered.
"Great. That's just on the way that I'm heading."
Jungkook told me, opening the car door. "Come on."
I hesitated first, of course. "But Mr. Jeon, what if someone finds out?" I'm new on the job so I have to maintain a good image. I don't want people in the club to start talking about us. I don't want a scandalous rumour to happen. "We might get in trouble."
Jungkook raised an eyebrow at me. "I'm the boss, Lisa." He recalled. "You are not getting in trouble."
"Do you have a plan to rape me or kidnap me?" I asked, but you can sense that I'm just joking. I'm not being serious on that one.
He gave me a are you kidding me look. "I have a security camera in front of my club, my bodyguards are just standing there a few meters away from us... now, do you think I'm that dumb to kidnap someone?"
I just laughed and shook my head. "No, thank you, Mr. Jeon. I will just walk on my way home. I've been doing this my whole life." I told him. It's not right if I go home alone with him right now. It doesn't feel right.
His eyebrows furrowed. "You've been walking home alone your whole life?"
"I always have a night job, Mr. Jeon. I've been supporting myself since I'm 16." I told him. Leaving a little mystery about my life so that he won't ask anymore.
