I noticed the look on your face
When they cried out your friends' name
Eyes on the ground you smiled
I think you knew by then
That it was never himSo many things I can't recall
But I remember the window
In which I looked at you
Breathless as I walked past
You looked at me twice
And hold my gaze all the way
Till I'm out of sightMy dear, if I may confess
That I saw you prior and was entranced
My heart was yearningSo I trailed
To the longer path
Less travelled
