I have been you
I was there
Where you wereI blame you
Purely because I am resentful
But I loathe myself
For knowing what you were
Adrift and beatenTemporary fixes calm the wound
When the permanence you desire
Removes itself from youYou flow with the current
Life waves brought me to you
Ideas came about
That I'm a girl next door
Easy and in reach
You did not hesitateI asked for a name
You felt suffocated
I ideate a man
Honest and brave
You were far from itThey say all love
Contained even the littlest beauty
But you weren't beautiful
You were just a fallacy
