I sat and watched you wailed
Silent, assault taken
Empathy absent, only annoyance
You sensed a rush of time
The new one is coming by
Cry all you want
I just need you gone

Last September night
Gentle warning and rejection
You blatantly ignored
Didn't they teach you
Stupid games played
Stupid prizes won

Black hearts, white lies
I faked three words
You faked the story
I know boys like you
Eager to be manned
Pride beyond comprehension
Sitting on some cloud
Offers nothing
Wants everything
Paraded before your friends
I was made a trophy

How did you not know
Signs were handed to you
When I announced
That I was pledged to another
Unpresent, in a faraway battle
Whom I didn't wait for out of love
But for merit
And his words repeated
Rings I am accountable

You were a prey I never looked for
If there was hurt
Know it was never intended
There was no grand scheme
No ploys to strike
I lacked love for you
You lacked knowledge of love
To say there was romance
Would be extreme exaggeration

Too young to give up
Too tired to begin
I've had my faults
But why do I feel
I was made a pawn
To better the lives
Of those worthless
