It has been almost 2 months since Risa gave the engagemeng ring back to Leni but in that time, they lost communication with one another. Risa did not have the courage to reach out to Leni and the latter is giving Risa her space and let her think things out.
During that time, Leni realized that she does not need to let go of her love for her late husband or their memories together. She just needed to accept the fact that Jesse has been gone for long and will never come back and the last thing that Jesse wants is for her to regret that she never took the chance to experience the love that will last her a lifetime for the second time around.
Anje and Jorge are at Baraquel residence and they were talking about Leni and Risa while cooking dinner.
"Bakit naman kasi ang tagal bago ka bumisita? Hindi naman dahil hindi maayos ang relasyon ng mga mama natin eh maaapektuhan na rin ang pagkakaibigan natin." Anje told Jorge
"Ito naman. Hindi naman sa ganun. Alam mo naman na after nung anniversary ni Papa ay lumipad ako papuntang London para mag-enroll, diba? Buti nga nakauwi ako eh pero 2 weeks lang ang bakasyon ko kasi magsa-start kami mid-October." Jorge responded
"Ano ba kasi ang nangyari kina mama? Bakit biglang hindi na nagkausap saka nakita ko na wala na ring suot na engagement ring si mama." Anje asked Jorge
"Hindi ba nagshi-share sa inyo si Mama Sen?" Jorge asked her
"Magtatanong ba ako kung nagku-kwento yun?" Anje sarcastically answered
"Noong bago kami umalis papuntang Naga..." Jorge started and told the whole story to Anje
Anje was dumbfounded on what she heard.
"So you mean, sinauli ni mama yung engagement ring kay Malens?" Anje asked
"Yes and kinausap ko rin naman si mama after nun kasi ako yung naka-witness nung nangyari. I told her na gusto ko rin naman talagang maging mama si Mama Sen pero if hindi pa ready si mama na i-let go si Papa, I will respect her decision, we will respect her decision. Hindi ko rin masisisi ang mama ko, Honti, she loved Papa so much and mahirap itapon ang 25 years kahit na wala na yung papa ko at hindi ko rin masisisi si Mama Sen kung bakit niya nagawa yun, she was hurt kasi sobra niya ring mahal si mama." Jorge explained
"So, anong sabi pa ni Malens?" Anje curiously asked
"Tinanong niya ako if sa tingin ko raw ba gusto ni papa na i-let go niya si papa." Jorge responded
"Anong sinabi mo? Maayos naman ba ang sinagot mo?" Anje asked again
"Sabi ko, hindi ko yun maisasagot dahil hindi naman ako si papa pero sigurado ako na gusto ni papa na maging masaya si mama sa piling ng taong mahal niya ngayon." Jorge responded
"Oh? Ano na ang plano ng manok ko? Hindi gumagalaw eh. Maga-anniversary na sila in 3 days oh tapos hindi pa nagkakausap." Anje asked
"Binibigyan niya ng time si Mama Sen na mag-cool down at kapag okay na ang sitwasyon, she will reach out. Ilang beses na rin kasi siyang pumupunta sa opisina ni Mama Sen pero lagi raw wala tapos she is reaching out to your siblings eh sinasabi rin nila na hindi nila alam kung nasaan si Mama Risa tapos nagpupunta rin dito si mama pero ikaw ang laging nabukas ng pinto at wala rin si Mama Risa rito kaya she's giving her more time para kumalma at kapag handa na siyang kausapin ang mama ko, at makinig sa sasabihin niya, Mama will come to her. Aminin natin, hindi lang si Mama Risa ang nasaktan sa nangyari. Nasaktan din ng husto ang mama ko dahil nakita niyang sobra niyang nasaktan ang babaeng mahal niya." Jorge told Anje
"So, ano ba? Sa tingin mo, may chance ba na magkabalikan ang dalawa?" Anje asked
"Sa nakikita ko ngayon, hindi ko masasabi dahil hindi na rin kami nagkakausap ni Mama Risa eh pero ito ang alam kong sigurado, Honti." Jorge said and paused
"Ano yun? Binibitin mo ko, Jorgina!" Anje impatiently told her
"Mama decided to accept that Papa will never come back and she is now open to the realization that she will leave this world without him by her side. Nakikita ko na desidido na talaga ang mama ko na pakasalan si Mama Risa. She is so sure na ipaglalaban na niya si Mama Risa if she will be given another chance." Jorge told her
"So, ano na ang plano natin?" Anje asked Jorge
Jorge was about to answer when they were interrupted by someone.
"Kayong dalawa, wala kayong ipa-plano. Ako meron, but you can help me plan out too."
It was Risa.
The two ladies were shocked to see Risa step inside the kitchen.
"M-ma?" Anje stuttered
"Kanina pa po ba kayo riyan, Mama Sen?" Jorge asked
Risa smiled at her daughters.
"Long enough to hear the things that I needed to hear, mga anak." Risa answered them
"Hali nga kayo rito." Risa said and and she hugged them both
"Jorge, thank you for coming here. Kung hindi ko pa narinig usapan niyo ni Anje, hindi ko pa malalaman ang totoo." Risa thanked Jorge and kissed her on the forehead
"I just know that I needed to let it out, ma. Sobrang mahal ka po ni Mama para pakawalan ka niya ng ganun lang kadali. If you were devastated on what happened, she was shattered into pieces because she hurt you, the woman that she loves and the woman that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with." Jorge told Risa
"I'm so lucky to have you as the most supportive Robredo girl. You have been so supportive of me and Leni since day 1." Risa told her
"Dinner is ready!" Anje announced
Anje put the foods on the table so that they can eat their dinner. They were about to have their first bite when Risa said
"So ito na nga ang plano."
