HIII HOPE UR DOING GOOD!!! annnd i hope ur having a beautiful week!! it's almost the weekend yes

ENJOY!!

it's the next morning and i'm getting ready for work. i'm standing in my bathroom, fixing my hair when i sense something behind me.

i turn around and see that same girl from last night standing in my bathroom.

"uh- do you mind?!", i exclaim.

"yes i do mind actually...we need to talk.", she says.

i let out an angry breath, "about what? i already told you i don't want to feel christmas spirit."

"too bad so sad you have no choice.", she sarcastically smiles, "now...when you get back from work we're going somewhere."

i don't like her at all. she has an attitude, she's bossy, and she likes the holidays.

i look at her with confusion, "where..."

she tilts her head back and forth, her hands in her coat pockets, "can't exactly say. but i'll see you later!"

and just like that she disappears into thin air, right in my bathroom.

this whole thing still confuses me and i don't understand it. why do i have to be the one? i'm too busy nowadays to worry about christmas. i have no family to spend it with so there's no point.

i finish getting ready and then i grab my keys from my kitchen counters, exiting my apartment. when i get into the parking garage, i get in my car and start my commute to work.

i arrive at work and i'm walking through the floor, heading for my office. i unlock the doors and enter, using my foot to kick it closed.

i set my bag down and sit down at my chair, starting up my monitors. i'm digging through my bag, trying to find papers when a knock sounds on my door. i hear it open and i look up to see my best friend, red, walk inside.

"hey", i breath out.

"good morning.", he says, "are you...okay?"

i look at him, confused, "why wouldn't i be?"

"you seem out of it.", he speaks.

my mind is still wrapped around this girl that's popping up. i feel like i need to see psychiatrist...i can't tell if i'm seeing things or not.

"okay listen something crazy is happening.", i tell him, standing up, "i feel like i'm seeing things."

"seeing what?"

"a girl.", i quietly say, "she's about 5'5...brunette hair...very peppy and has an attitude...looks like christmas threw up on her. and she claims she's the ghost of christmas past, present, and future."

red widens his eyes and i look at him even more confused now.

"dude..what?", he laughs.

i shrug, "i know! i just- i don't know if it's real or not."

"you know what actually...", he slowly says, "that sounds like the plot of scrooge."

"what is a scrooge?"

red presses his lips together, "you man...you are a scrooge...a grinch."

"what?"

"you hate christmas!", red exclaims, "and then the ghosts of past, present, and future came to change that."

i scoff, "so what? you believe this?"

red looks at me and shrugs, "i don't know...it makes sense."

"you can't be for real...", i breath out.

red shrugs and then his phone starts ringing. he points to it and then i nod before he leaves my office. i'm left in the silence and i sit back down at my chair, beginning to check my emails.

i'm on my lunch break now and i'm standing in the employee rest area, grabbing a cup of coffee.

all of a sudden i feel a tap on my shoulder and i turn around. i see that same girl standing behind me with her same smile.

"i thought i wasn't supposed to see you til tonight?", i say, looking around to make sure nobody sees me.

she lets out a breath, "well...you seem like you're gonna be a lot of work so i figured we should start early."

"my lunch break is like fifteen minutes—"

she shakes her head, "don't worry...the present time stops for you whenever i take you to the past or future."

she reaches her hand out and i look at her. i still can't wrap my mind around all of this. it doesn't make sense. i let out a breath, figuring that maybe if i just go along with it right now, it'll be over.
