Albus returned to his room and stepped into the bathroom, he didn't recognize himself in the mirror. Albus saw the same scared teenager from his past, this time around it was no different. The past and present memories molded into one nightmare. Dumbledore was unable to forgive himself for letting Grindelwald get to him again, but tomorrow would be different.
He splashed some water on his face trying to wash away his guilt, but all he felt were glass shards piercing against his skin. Albus's breathing started to quicken he attempted to use his other senses to calm himself down but his vision got blurry. The ground was like a magnet pulling him to the ground, all of his senses were clogged with thoughts of worry and despair.

Dumbledore was woken by his ticking clock, having no recollection of the events after being visited by Grindelwald. He was a good ten minutes late for class, having been already dressed from last night Albus was able to lightly jog to his first class. As he peered around the corner none of his students were outside waiting by the door, this made Albus pick up his pace into more of a sprint. Dumbledore had always looked down on children who ran to class but now he can see the appeal.
Albus grabbed the doorknob and yanked it open, to his surprise Grindelwald was in front of, the class sitting at Albus's desk with his feet up on some graded parchment paper. Today was the first day that Grindelwald would be in the classroom, Albus didn't expect him to show up at all none less on time. The students turned their attention toward him some with intrigued expressions and others with grim smiles.

"Thank you for finally joining us this morning Professor Dumbledore." Grindelwald expressed.
Grindelwald kept the same stupid smile on his face, it was like he was trying to prove something. This made Albus severely mad, it takes a real dick to come into a classroom on their first day and start ordering around the professor. Grindelwald with obviously trying to push Dumbledore's buttons, it would be unlike him to do anything else. Making his first impression good on the children so he would have them on his side.

"Sorry for the inconvenience this morning the sun must have forgotten to wake me up! Today we are joined by Grindelwald as I expressed recently he would be joining us for our classes. He's one of the most... Anyways we must get on with class, today we will be talking about counter-curses." Dumbledore stood dead set in front of the door, it was profound but the students were being entertained by Grindelwald. There's so much Albus wanted to say to the kids; don't talk to him too much, don't tell him where you live, make sure your parents don't know about this.

As all the children were piling out of the classroom both men stood silently, Dumbledore secretly wanted Grindelwald to rush out of there. The class went smoothly after Albus's appearance there were no remarks or interruptions from the other man. Albus wished he could have taken a trip inside Grindelwald's mind to reading all of the thoughts that occurred during the class.

"I always thought that you would a great teacher, shame that you missed out on that life." Albus was trying small talk for the first time ever, he had to work with this man he might as well enjoy the time. Dumbledore was done being soft and taken advantage of, it was his turn to make Grindelwald annoyed.

"Do you not remember Albus? I was once a teacher to you." Albus could not read his face, he couldn't tell if Grindelwald was flirting or serious he also didn't know which one he wanted it to be.

"Well, now you can see that I don't need teaching anymore, Gellert. As matter of fact, I've improved." Albus trying the same thing attempting to confuse Grindelwald.

Grindelwald's face slightly slipped his cheeks got visibly warmer, the hands thrown into his pockets shifted around and he broke eye contact. It was working.
