Only Hope [SDR2 Komahina]

Part Two: Bagels and Orange Juice

After breakfast, Hinata left the restaurant and started to roam around while looking for Komaeda.

"Where am I supposed to meet him? Komaeda never told me about that." Hinata asked to himself while sighing.

While Hinata was looking for Komaeda, he saw Komaeda by his cabin while Komaeda was staring at the cabin door.

"Komaeda!" Hinata called out then Komaeda turned around and gasped to see Hinata standing in front of him.

"Oh, Hinata. You finally came." Komaeda smiled.

"So, where are we going?" Hinata asked.

"It's a secret." Komaeda said then Hinata sighed once again.

Without Hinata knowing, Komaeda grabbed Hinata's hand and started to drag him then they left the 1st Island.

After few minutes of Komaeda dragging Hinata, they finally arrived at the movie theater of the 3rd Island. Hinata sighed in relief because he was so tired getting dragged around by Komaeda.

"What are we doing here, Komaeda?" Hinata asked.

"We're here for a movie, of course. We're on a date, right?" Komaeda said.

"Wait... what?!" Hinata screamed in his mind.

"Just kidding, why would you date someone like me?" Komaeda said, laughing his annoying laugh.

Hinata sighed again. By the look of HInata's face, he doesn't want to have a date with Komaeda right now but deep inside Hinata's heart, he is really happy to have a date with him.

Unfortunately, something or someone finally appeared to ruin the peaceful moment. A monochrome bear appeared right behind a potted plant near the entrance and walked right in front of them; it was Monokuma.

"Upupupu~" Monokuma laughed his signature laugh.

"What do want, Monokuma?" Hinata asked bitterly.

"Aww... you don't have to be rude, Hinata. I was going to help you." Monokuma said with his head down, pretending to be offended.

"Who are you and what have you done to Monokuma?" Hinata asked Monokuma while being bothered with Monokuma's sudden change of attitude.

"I am Monokuma. After all the despair from yesterday's trial, I decided to take a day-off from despair for a while, in order to give you an even bigger despair afterwards." Monokuma explained then laughed.

"Come on, Hinata. Let's do it before Monokuma changes his mind." Komaeda said while smiling to Hinata.

"So, what do you, guys, need?" Monokuma asked.

"Bagels!" Komaeda yelled.

"I guess I want some orange juice." Hinata said.

Monokuma ran to the snack bar to work on their orders then came back shortly and gave them their food. HInata and Komaeda went inside the cinema and sat at the middle seats. The movie began to play and it was playing Frozen. Hinata facepalmed and sighed.

"Out of all movies, why did it have to play Frozen?" Hinata mumbled.

"It's all right, Hinata. Just watch it while you can. It might be the last time you'll watch this movie." Komaeda whispered.

Hinata heard what Komaeda said then started to watch the movie quietly while Monokuma was giggling when he heard Hinata complaining about Frozen.

After the movie was over, HInata sighed in relief that the whole movie was finally over. Both Komaeda and Hinata left the theater quietly without saying a word. When they arrived the lobby, Monokuma was patiently waiting for them.

"So, how was it?" Monokuma asked.

"It was terr-" Hinata was about to say how bad the movie was but his mouth was covered by Komaeda's hand.

"It was great. I like how it speaks about hope in the film." Komaeda enthusiastically said.

"I think he was sarcastic when he said that." Hinata thought then removed Komaeda's hand from his mouth.

"I knew I picked a despairingly good movie for you, guys." Monokuma said while putting an emphasis on the word despair then he disappeared in the floorboards.

After that short conversation with Monokuma, Komaeda dragged Hinata again to another area. Hinata was very tired of him getting dragged by Komaeda but deep inside of him, he enjoyed every second of it, even the moment he was watching Frozen with Komaeda few minutes ago. Hinata smiled right behind Komaeda's back, hopefully Komaeda wouldn't notice him.

Hinata knew that he was in love with Komaeda since from the very start. For Hinata, Komaeda is his only hope.
