Part Four: Insanity

*Ding dong, bing bong*

"Ahem... Hope's Peak Academy's School Trip Executive Committee has an announcement to make. Goooooood morning, everyone! Looks like today is gonna be another perfect, tropical day! Now then, let's show some enthusiasm and make sure to give it our all today!" Monokuma's high-pitched voice rang throughout the cottage, signaling Hinata that it is already morning.

Hinata did the usual routine in the morning and left his cabin to have breakfast at the restaurant. But, this time is very different for Hinata because all morning he was thinking about Komaeda and what happened yesterday.

After breakfast, Hinata met the others by the lobby but then a strange scenario happened right in front of Hinata's eyes. Akane Owari just wrestled Komaeda while Kazuichi Souda and Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu tried to tie Komaeda. Hinata didn't pay attention to anything that is happening but suddenly, an explosion occurred. The explosion blew the whole lobby into a crisp but no one had major injuries, except for Souda slamming to a wall from the explosion and probably losing his consciousness.

The sound of Komaeda's terrifying laughter rang throughout the burnt lobby. Hinata didn't really pay attention to what Komaeda is saying but Komaeda said that he wanted to destroy Jabberwock Island to end all of the killings.

"The bombs will blow up at two days at noon. If the traitor comes forward and reveals their identity, I'll tell them where I hid the bombs." Komaeda laughed hysterically.

"W-what the hell?!" Hinata mumbled.

"Is that bastard serious?" Souda asked in extreme doubt.

"As long as the traitor comes forward, this can all be resolved peacefully. It'll all be fine... I'm pretty sure everything will work out in the end. After all the time we've spent together, I believe in you and more than anything... I believe in my Ultimate Luck!" Komaeda laughed as he walked away from the burning hotel, leaving everyone speechless.

"W-what have I done?" Hinata mumbled and a tear escaped his eye but he wiped it away before anyone noticed.
