KABIR'S POV
With much difficulty, I brought Bhai outside the mansion. I made him sit on a chair, his mental state is worst right now. At the start of the day, everyone was gleaming with joy and when it comes to the near end everything had turned into ashes. The officers keep doing their work of blowing the fire and soon the fire subsidies leaving a thick layer of dark coal on the mansion.
All the officers came and circled around us, I asked them id they find them inside. Are they safe, everyone keep on asking them a different question, so they told us to be patient as they need to tell something.
''There were two dead bodies, and they are burnt badly, we could not recognise the faces, you need to identify them'' the officer said making everyone gasp. My phone slipped off my hands, I was about to stumble when Sara supported me. Dead bodies, no this cannot happen.
They brought the bodies covered with the white sheets. I gulp hard, my hands were shaking vigorously. I closed my eyes and with shivering hands, I removed the cloth above the head of the bodies. The cries of everyone rang in my eyes, I partially open my eyes and saw the bodies, none of them is recognisable. Their faces are burnt badly, nothing is there on the bodies for identification.
''None of them is my moon'' I heard the boss's words, as he was sitting blankly. His face have no expression, he suddenly screamed her name loudly. In the hustle, we dint realized when he got up and stared at the bodies lying in front of him.
A thick silence prevailed as no one was able to grasp this news. Everyone was blank and shocked to react. I stood in front of Boss as he kept looking at the body void of any expression. ''Boss, please handle yourself'' I mumbled slowly.
''She is not my moon'' he screamed like a maniac and pushed me aside.
''Shiv'' a faint voice of the love of his life, reached his ears. His eyes inclined in the direction where a tiny figure of his little moon was coming towards him supporting Yash. She didn't have any physical injury on her body but still, she was looking sick, she was finding it hard to even walk whereas Yash's forehead had dried blood on it, but still he manage to support her and walked her. Mishti ran to Yash and hugged him tightly while he patted her back to console her as his one hand was draped on Chandani's shoulder. Everyone was overjoyed looking at them, it was such a relief.
Bhai grasp the situation and steered to her, he came close to her and stood in front of her. Simulateonelsy Yash removed his hand from her and she tried to take a step forward but she slumped dropping her whole body on him which he caught her effortlessly. He wrapped his arms around her embracing her. He let out a relieved sigh and hold her tightly peppering kiss on her whole face. She cupped his face and checked on his wounds.
''How did this happen'' she mumbled and start checking his wounds. Her eyes were drowsy and she was not able to stand properly, seeing this he hugged her quickly, burying her head in his chest.
''It's nothing you are important now'' he answered and didn't get a reply from her, which worried us. He reattached her from himself and she was about to fall when he held her tightly.
''Moon'' he screamed her name and picked up her unconscious body, I went to help him as he is weak too I noticed her nose has some dried traces of blood and she burning with high temperature. He picked her up and ran to the ambulance standing there for her check-up. Soon the doctors started their work and we took her home after that.
