Could it be love at first sight?

Chapter 1

Sophie is now regretting her choice to come on a week long winter holiday abroad alone with her 8 month old daughter. Pushing her round in the pram through the hotel grounds, she's been walking for 2 hours, and only on about 3 hours sleep since take off yesterday morning. "Come on bubba please settle down for mama" she says to her baby, Summer. Sophie could feel the tears burning in her eyes now but refused to cry in public she thinks it's makes her look like a bad mother.
As she walks down the path, her phone vibrates, she takes it out but drops it onto the grass along with Summers bottle of milk too, which spills all over her outfit. Summer is still crying and Sophie doesn't have another bottle made up. Sophie lets down her guard and breaks her number one rule, she starts crying. She puts the brakes on the pram and sits on the grass crying.

"Ya alright there love?" She hears a voice say to her, she looks up and sees the most beautiful pair of brown eyes looking down at her. "It's all gone wrong today I'm sorry" she stands up still rocking the pram, but luckily Summer has quietened down. "I'm Jack" he says. "I'm Sophie" she says wiping her eyes. "So Sophie, looks like this little one has gone to sleep" he says pointing at Summer "so why don't I take you to the snack bar, we can get a drink and maybe some chips or something, and you can tell me why we have tears." Sophie smiles gratefully "Snack bar sounds great haven't really had chance to eat since landing last night."
They walk to the snack bar just chatting, and for the first time in a while Sophie is smiling. Jack walks over with 2 cokes and some chips. "Thank you Jack, now I'm gonna make myself sound stupid if I'm wrong and if I'm right I might seem like a proper stalker but you're Jack Grealish right?" And he laughs "yeah I am, have I found my new stalker then" and they both laugh.
They spend the next 2 hours talking. Summer wakes up and interrupts their conversation, while Summer's having her bottle, Sophie says "I thought I read online that you came on holiday with some of your team mates?" He smiles and says "oh so maybe you have been stalking me then" and laughs then continues "No, you're right love, my mates are here but I don't need to spend all the time with them. I've really enjoyed these last couple of hours with you." After finishing their drinks they say goodbyes and head their separate ways, both of them with the other one on their mind.

"Where you been Jacky boy" Phil asks Jack as he walks in with a smile on his face remembering the last few hours. "Just talking to an amazing girl I met. She's a mum, she's got a little girl who's adorable. She was having trouble with the little one and became upset, so I made sure she was okay, then we went and got a drink and some food from the snack bar while the baby was asleep" Jack tells the boys with a big grin as he thinks back to how much he's enjoyed the last 3 hours. The boys all laugh at him, but he doesn't listen he just thinks to if he'll see her again.
"You get her number then bro?" Ben asks and Jack just looks up confused. "This girl, since you've been back it's the happiest you've been the whole holiday and you only spoke to her for a few hours" he points out to Jack who shrugs, "I didn't get her number unfortunately, but all I know she made me feel really happy. Hard part is, I've never been with a woman who has a child, anyway, I don't even know if she was single" Ben rolls his eyes at Jack's response and suggests as it would've been a few hours, once they're ready for dinner they can walk around the hotel, and they may see her again. Jack doesn't know if it will work bur will try anything that means he could bump into her again. He honestly can't stop thinking about her.
*4 hours later*
Ben and Jack start walking through the hotel and after a little while Jack see's Sophie, with a very upset baby Summer again, they make eye contact and both smile. "hey you, she don't seem happy again love" Jack says as he gets closer. Sophie laughs and tells them she's teething so nothing makes her happy. Jack introduces Ben, when Ben talks the Summer looks at him quietly, she keeps looking at his ice lolly, Ben makes a few silly faces at her and she laughs. "Do you mind if I have a cuddle? And maybe give her my ice lolly" Ben says to Sophie. "Course not go ahead, it's been a difficult few days coming on holiday just me and her."
Ben has now taken Summer and they're waking around looking at different things while Ben makes funny noises and he gives her his ice lolly.
"Soph, I'm gonna go straight to the point. Can I have ya number? Ever since I left you earlier I couldn't stop thinking about ya. I'd love it if I could get to know you better." Sophie smiles and takes his phone and puts her number in.
As Ben brings Summer over she leans towards Jack who takes her from Ben and carries on the making funny noises and making her laugh. "I'm just heading to get some food, are you boys walking that way?" And both boys nod to Sophie, "I can take her back if you want" Sophie offers pointing at Summer, "nah we're alright, ain't we Summer." Jack says tickling her.
After about 15 minute walk to the food area, Sophie looks at Summer and says "you must have the magic touch, she's asleep on you." Both boys look at Summer as Jack lays her into the pram.
