Jack Grealish Fanfic- When Sophie goes on holiday with her 8 month daughter and ends up meeting Jack Grealish. What will happen once their back in the UK?
Jack POV: I've been at England camp for 2 weeks, we've got one week left before our first match of 3. This has been the hardest time of my life, I FaceTime Summer every night before she goes to bed and she tells me all about her day, I always ask how Sophie is and how baby is. We're polite with each other and it's clear we miss each other but I know she needs time. I hang up from the call and slouch down on the sofa. Ben comes and sits next to me with his arm round my shoulder, "you okay mate" I shrug and say "not really lad, I miss them lots you know. I don't know if I'll ever get Sophie back" he smiles at me and says "I can't promise you that mate but give her the time and focus on the football like she asked you too. I don't think it's over forever but I do think if she gives you another chance you've got a serious amount of making up to do." I nod knowing he's right "she said she'll bring Summer to the match on the weekend." We chat about it all and I head to bed, ready for training tomorrow. -1 week later- Match day!- 2nd April Today is match day, it's the official end of training camp, we've got 3 matches coming up in the space of 12 days. It's going to be a busy couple of weeks but I'm just excited that it's getting closer to trying to sort things out with Sophie. I still talk to Summer daily but I'm worried the distance between me and Soph is making her realise she can do better than me. I've regretted my actions everyday since and I wish I could've told her instead of the way she found out, well honestly I wish I didn't do it in the first place. We're on the coach to the stadium and I'm scrolling through my phone and I see a post that makes me smile so much. Instagram

I stare at the post, I feel tears roll down my cheek. I've really missed my girls, and I realise I'm so lucky, even after everything, she turns up and supports us. "You're one lucky lad" I hear Hendo say as he sits next to me. I look up and say "I know, I just hope I haven't fucked it up proper" he smiles at me and says "Mate, I think there may be some hope. She's come to the match to support you, she could of easily not come along. I mean it's not gonna be an easy journey but I don't think it's completely lost. She loves you." I look at my feet and say "I love her so much lad, I just need to focus on this match like I promised her I would." He smiles and pats my shoulder. The coach stops and we head inside knowing we've not got long until kick off.
-end of match- The match finished 1-0 to England and the stadium is erupting in cheers. Sophie looks at the girls and says "we better head to the main room to meet them" Lauren hugs her and says "you ready for this" and Sophie shrugs "as ready as I'll ever be. This little one is excited to see daddy" she says as she looks at Summer. The girls all tell her itll be okay, while walking to the room, all the children are walking together and Sophie says "am I stupid for feeling excited to see him again?" Kennedy looks at her and says "course not, he's your husband and you haven't seen him properly in like 6 weeks. It's normal to miss him. You still love him" Sophie shrugs and Fern says "The path of true love doesn't run smooth and believe me, we've all been in a similar situation to you at some point or another with the lads" the girls all nod and agree. She continues "sometimes the time away shows us that we do still need them in our lives and as long as they're sorry and want to make it better which from the look of it Jack does, it's not the worse thing ever to let the guards down and let him back in." Sophie thanks her and has a serious think about what the girls have said, it's true she still loves Jack with all of her heart. Sophie POV: We're sitting in the hall, waiting for the lads. I see the door open and I tell Summer she can run now as she's seen Jack. "DADDY" she yells as she runs, the smile on his face lights up as he picks her up and spins he around. He walks over to where I'm sitting, I smile at him and he holds his arms open for a hug and I take it happily. "Good game J" I say and he grins. "Thanks Soph, I promised you I'd focus and play the best I can and that's what I did" I giggle remembering what I made him promise me. "I've missed you J" I say and he looks at me in shock "I've really missed you too Soph, I know you said you wanted to wait until the matches are done with but any chance we could talk. These 6 weeks have felt like forever, I don't think I can survive 2 more weeks." I see the upset and sincerity in his face and I feel the exact same. "Okay. We can talk J. I feel the same." He hugs me tight and our little boy kicks. We both smile at the feeling. We stand side by side and he puts his arm around my shoulders and I rest my head on him as we watch Summer play with the other lads children. We head back separately, I take Summer back to Jacks parents. I've already called and asked if they will watch Summer while I go with Jack. They agreed quickly. I'm now getting ready, as Jacks taking us to dinner. He's going to pick me up. Instagram
