Jack Grealish Fanfic- When Sophie goes on holiday with her 8 month daughter and ends up meeting Jack Grealish. What will happen once their back in the UK?
-The next day- Jack POV: I've just parked up at training, I still feel so bad this morning. Sophie's not spoken much about it, I think me not answering may have hurt her, especially because it was because I was talking to the lads. I took Summer to nursery this morning and explained to them, just because she was still a little bit shook up. I walk into the changing rooms and see Phil, Kyle and John. "Alright lads, where's Kal?" I ask and they explain he's not well. The Kyle says "what's up lad? You look like the worlds on your shoulders." I nod "Soph and the kids were in a car crash yesterday, and she called me and I didn't answer. I didn't think much of it and when I left you guys after chatting I didn't call her, I only found out when I got home, she had to call my parents to come help her." They all look shocked "shit, are they okay though?" Phil asks and I nod "physically yeah, Max didn't know what happened, it's shook Summer up emotionally but I think she'll be okay. And its traumatised Soph, she won't talk about it and I think she's upset with me. I mean I get it as I wasn't there when she needed me." They all smile sympathetically and John says "How bad is the damage?" I show them the pictures and Kyle says "Fuck, they were lucky they didn't get hurt" I nod and we head out to training. Sophie POV: I've been motivated this morning and cleaned the house top to bottom. I think it's because all the time I'm busy, I'm not thinking about yesterday. I've not spoken to Jack much as he upset me, I was going through one of the scariest things in life and he didn't answer his phone because he was taking to the lads. I know he feels bad, but he should, Me or the children could've been seriously hurt. I need to call Karen to ask if she'll take me to collect Summer from nursery. She said she'd be more than happy but I don't want to be a pain. Karen💖 K-Hey Sophie, how are you feeling today? S-Hey Karen, a little bit better still very shook up. K-Very understandable. S-Can I ask a favour, if you can't it's okay. But would you be able to take me to pick Summer up from nursery please? K-of course I can, Kevin can stay home with Max, we'll collect Summer then get her some ice cream, as she's probably still shaken. S-yeah she is, that'd be lovely. Thank you. K- It's okay darling, we're family remember. We'll be over in about 20 minutes.
After hanging up from Karen my phone pings and j see it's a message from Jack. J❤️ Soph, I just wanted to message to make sure you're okay. I love you so much. I feel like such a terrible husband after yesterday, I will spend forever making up for it. I'll be home a little bit later tonight as I'm picking up a surprise for you on the way home. Again I'm really sorry for yesterday. Give Summer and Max a kiss and cuddle from daddy and I'm sending you a big kiss and cuddle too. I love you always❤️ xxx
J, it's okay. Im okay and so are the children. The only thing not okay is the car. I admit it hurt a lot you not being there but it's a mistake and it happens, you didn't know what had happened and if you did you would've been there. I love you too. Always and forever xxx
I don't care about the car, I can get a new one it's honestly doesn't matter. If you or the children were hurt I'd never forgive myself. You're the most amazing wife ever, and I'm the luckiest husband in the world. By the way, Phil, John and Kyle send there love xx
20 minutes after my phone call with Karen they arrive. I just made Max a bottle and it's cooling. I let them in and they both give me a big hug. As I give Max to Kevin, I say "I've just made him a bottle it's cooling, is it okay for you to give it to him?" He smiles "of course it is. Grandads excited for his time with Max." I thank him and he laughs telling me we're family and it's okay. I've never been part of a caring family like this until now and its the best thing ever. In the car on the way to Summer, Karen says "so how are you and Jack?" I look at her confused and she adds "I know how much him not answering hurt you. I get it as I'd be really upset by that too." I nod "it did hurt me, it also angered me too. But he messaged today and told me again how bad he feels, I wanted to stay mad but I couldn't, he's beating himself up about it so much already. I've reassured him we're okay but I think he just needs to accept it in his own time" she smiles and we park up and go to pick Summer up, she's so excited to see Nanny, then when Karen tells her we're going for ice cream she gets even more excited. We arrive at the shop and Summers gets so happy seeing all the ice cream, we order and I go in my handbag to get my card and I see Karen reach over and pay. I look up and say "I was going to pay, it's the least I can do after all you've done." She smiles and hugs me "Soph, we do all we do because we love you, your a daughter to us. You've given us 2 amazing grandchildren and you saved our son, you're a lovely girl. We know you're not used to a family like ours, but we're here got you always. You're a Grealish, it's what we do" I grin and say "I love being a Grealish. I'm so grateful for how you accepted me and Summer." She grins and says "it wasn't hard, not only were you both lovely but Kevin and I saw how much our boy loved you, how happy you made him and that makes us happy" it was at that moment it all fell in to place, my brain had finally accepted I was part of this family and I love it. She squeezes my hand like she knew what I was thinking and I smile "You're the mum I never got to have" she tears up and says "I'm honoured to have you" we share our moment while Summer happily colours in her picture then the ice cream comes over and it's delicious.
