Chapter 4
2 DAYS LATER PAUL WALKED INTO HAZELS ROOM WITH A FEW PANCAKES (AND HER UNCLES PERMISSION OF COURSE). THEY HAD CHOCOLATE AND FRUIT ON TOP, just the way she liked them. She looked up at him as he walked towards her and he set the plate on her lap
"Paul" she muttered
"I know. You're not hungry. But since the first day I shifted you was there, helping me with my anger and all. Im going to be here for you. Same with Jared and Sam" he handed her the fork and she took it before cutting the pancake up
"Thank you" he nodded and took a seat beside her
"Are you feeling a bit better?" she shrugged her shoulders
"The same. But I don't want to cry anymore, you know? It's not gonna change whether I do or don't but it also feels like crying is the only way thing that makes me feel better" she sat up and pushed her hair behind her ears "I think I should get out of here for a while. Do you want to take a walk?" Paul didn't expect the words to come out of her mouth but he agreed nonetheless and gave her time to get ready whilst he waited downstairs
But the closer she got ready to actually leave the more dread started to fill her
She walked downstairs to see Paul sitting on her couch and watching a football match but once he caught her eyes he shook his head
"No way. You're going, even If I have to drag you myself. It was your idea" she nodded and started walking out of the door with Paul on her tail

They were walking on the beach, Jared had joined them earlier on and hazel felt good at the fact it was so normal between them, or as normal as it can be
"So are you staying over at Emily's tomorrow?" She nodded
"My uncles gonna be there most of the day too, but then he has to go to Louisiana later on"
"That gives us time to beat you in a fight" she let a small slip and she looked up at Jared
"Come on, you know you have to be in wolf form just for a chance at beating me" Paul laughed at the pair as they continued on but they saw another trio walkkng down too
Hazel recognised them to be jacob, Quil and Embry. They had all kept their eye on Embry knowing that he was gonna shift soon but they also had a feeling jacob and quil would too even Quil though he had a smaller chance
They continued walking but once they crossed paths Hazel saw the three boys almost shrink under Jared and Paul's gaze
Hazel waved at them as they walked by, she hsd spoken to them at least once before so she didn't find it weird to give them a greeting when they passed
