Chapter 6THE ULEY HOUSE WAS HECTIC. EVERYONE WAS RUNNING ABOUT AND DOING THINGS PREPARING FOR THANKSGIVING WHICH was tomorrow and Hazel had been sent to the shops for a few ingredients with Paul early in the morning
He was off at the moment getting something from the crisps aisle, even though Hazel told him that they were going there after anyways (he was just impatient)
So Hazel was putting things in the cart as she wheeled it around the supermarket but gasped as she turned a corner and hit someone
"Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry" she apologised and the guy who was standing there looked up. But suddenly his angry expression turned to a smile
"It's okay" he smiled as he walked around the cart though Hazel could see him get closer to her
"You can make up for it. How about a date?" Her saliva was almost caught in her throat at his abrupt question"I'm sorry.. I'm not looking for a relationship" he shrugged his shoulders and stepped forward but hazel ended up taking a step back only then realising she couldn't move any further as she was now pressing into a shelf
Hazel didn't know what to say. She was part frozen not knowing what to do and the other part of her was fully embarrassed
"I could change that. How about tomorrow? We can get something to eat? Or we can just go straight to my place"
"No- no thank you"
"Come on"
"Hey! She said no! " Paul shouted and the pairs eyes snapped to him, hazels of shock and the guys of anger for being interrupted
"So get off my sister!" the guy looked up at Paul, the muscly and tall form scaring him in a way that got him to move away from Hazel"Thank you" she said to him once he had gone. He looked down at her with a small smile, but he was still angry at the situation. If Hazel hadn't helped him with some anger techniques he would've fully wolfed out on that guy
