"SHE CAN BARELY KEEP ANYTHING DOWN. SHES LOST A LOT OF WEIGHT THAT ALMOST MAKES HER LOOK DEAD AND YOURE TELLING ME that there's nothing you can do!" The doctor stuttered under jacks angry gaze
"There's nothing physically wrong with her Mr Keller. I'm sorry but this is out of our depth" Jack let off a small, incredibly forced smile and nodded picking up his coat. He urged Hazel to get up and follow which she did without hesitation
"Stupid fucking hospital. Can't even help"
"This is out of their hands uncle Jack" Hazel whispered. Since the 9 days that had passed since Hazel had first been sick she had kept little to nothing down. Anything she consumed would be brought up again and she had lost a lot of weight that was noticeable to those around her.
It was the mate bond, was all they knew and the doctors were right that there was nothing they could do, but Jack was just hoping for some miracle that would stop her from getting worse
They ended up going home after jacks outburst but it wasn't tense like she expected it. Jack was never like that with her- he never acted as if she was fragile and she loved that about him
She placed herself on the couch as she continued to read through her book that she had finally finished writing. There was a small smile on her face as she read through everything and it was uncontainable
"What's got you all smiling?" Jack questioned as he walked in, taking a seat by her. She shut the laptop and looked at him sheepishly
"Nothing" she murmered putting the laptop beside her "I'm going to get something to drink"

"I did see something in the woods" Angela told them all at the table
"Totally. Baby, I belive you" Eric said as he grasped her hands in his
"No he doesnt. He's just trying to get lucky" Eric laughed at Jessica and Hazel smiled as Bella made their way over
"No. It was jet black and huge. On all fours it was almost taller than a person" Hazel almost rolled her eyes at the fact Sam was spotted out in the woods, she needed to tell him to be more careful "A bear, maybe?"
