Chapter 9
DAYS LATER HAZEL SAT ON HER BED AS SHE CONTINUED THROUGH HER NOVEL SHE WAS WRITING. SHE WAS MORE THAN 3/4 IN AND SHE WAS loving what it was coming out to be. She would re read it all the time actually liking the way it was written and the story line in general and she just found it fun
There was some days where she didn't know what to write but then there was others where words and ideas practically flew out out of her and onto the laptop
Today was one of those days and she was just so on a roll that she had to turn down the offer to go to the movies with Jessica and Bella
She really did want to go but she also really enjoyed what she was doing
It had been harder for her the past week. Her nightmares had become more frequent and the already agonising pain in her chest had gotten worse (which Hazel didn't even think was possible)
Her hair colour had also changed a lot. People had started to realise and it made her feel mostly like a freak. She would dye over it, but nothing would stick so instead she got to wearing hats most of the time
She wouldn't leave the house without one now and when she was with the pack or her uncle they almost had to force the thing off her and tell them that the colour was beautiful on her
She never believed it but she also felt the most comfortable around them

WHEN HAZEL WOKE UP THE NEXT DAY SHE WAS GREETED IN A BED FULL OF SWEAT FROM THE NIGHTMARE THAT HAD OCCURED. She felt like it was torture. That her body was putting her through torture for something she couldn't control and she hated herself for it
She immediately got out, feeling cold from the air hitting her damp skin so she put her bedsheets and covers in the wash and got in the shower
It didn't relieve any stress or tension but once she got out and changed she got a message
Do you want to meet? - Bella
Hazel replied with a yes and Bella said that she would be picking her up in 5 so she just put her shoes on and put her away in her drawer
