I wrote my first “story” in elementary school.
Even back then it was a little messed up.
Then I wrote my first small book when I was in 7th grade.
It was a sappy and cringy romance book with a happy ending.
Then in high school I wrote fan fiction.
Again sappy and cringy romance.
Whatever I wanted in my life I would make someone else’s story.
As I typed I would imagine myself as the main character,
Dreaming that one day if it ever became a movie I could play her.
I never thought my first real book would be one where I was the main character.
