"It wasn't my fault!! The building was supposed to be abandoned!!" Yok screamed.
"You shouldn't have even been doing that in the first place!" His Mother shouted.
"It won't happen again! I won't get caught again just leave me alone!" Yok shouted as he ran to his room.
He slammed the door shut before looking at Akk. Yok sighed when he saw Akk staring at him. He absolutely hated when Akk stared at him like this. Akk knew that Yok had a soft spot for him and used it to his advantage. He knew that Yok hated seeing him upset. No matter how mad Yok got he never wanted to frighten Akk. Despite being jealous of Akk he never wanted to scare him.
"I didn't mean to startle you," Yok said before sitting on his bed.
"Why can't you just listen to mom and dad?" Akk asked.
Yok rolled his eyes. He should've known Akk would start questioning him. It was always like this. Yok would do something wrong, he'd get into a fight with his parents, and Akk would then ask him why he didn't just behave. It made Yok so angry that Akk kept trying to get him to follow all those stupid rules. He knew that Akk just wanted him to stop getting into trouble but Yok would never be able to stay out of trouble.
"Why should I stop being myself? Why should I change for people who don't even give a damn about my life." Yok said.
He grabbed his school bag and dug out a pack of cigarettes and his lighter. Akk could only watch as Yok opened the bedroom window before lighting his cigarette. He hated that Yok smoked in their room. Even with the window open all of Akk's things had a faint smell of smoke. Yok didn't care though. Yok never thought about anyone but himself.
"Why can't you go walk somewhere to smoke? My clothes stink because of you." Akk muttered.
Before Yok had a chance to reply their parents came into the room. Yok rushed to put out the cigarette and hide the pack behind his back. He was still too young to legally smoke. Honestly, he was amazed he hadn't been caught until today.
"First you get expelled from school, then you get arrested, and now you are smoking!" His mother screamed.
Yok glanced over at Akk and saw how he was beginning to cry quietly.
"Can we not do this in front of Akk?" Yok begged.
"We are done with this behavior Yok." His father began." You either straighten up or you can leave my house."
Yok stood in shock as he stared at his parents. He knew from the looks on their faces that they were serious. He didn't say anything. He could only stand and try not to get angry. If Yok was being honest he wanted to snap at them. He wanted to yell at them and blame them for everything.
"Why can't you be more like Akk?! He's top of his class and never gets in trouble!!" His mother shouted.
Upon hearing that Yok let out a scoff as he looked at Akk. He stared at him with a glare. Akk just stared at him with a guilty expression. Yok shook his head before turning to look at his parents.
"You want me to be more like him?" Yok hissed." You want me to be some coward who can't even think for himself! You just want me to blindly follow along with what those bastards say!? I'll never be like Akk! I'll never be a pushover!!!"
Yok grabbed his bag and began to stuff as much of his stuff in it as he could. His parents watched him and did nothing to stop him. Akk on the other hand tried to stop him. He did his best to get Yok to stop but he didn't. Once Yok finished packing his stuff he shoved past his parents and left.

"And that's why I don't talk to my brother," Akk mumbled.
"So you are ignoring him because he left when your parents kicked him out?" Ayan asked." Doesn't that seem a little silly?"
Akk rolled his eyes and shoved Ayan a bit. After that day Akk began to despise his brother. He hated that most of the teachers at Suppalo remembered Yok and at first tried to treat Akk like he was Yok. It only stopped when Dika helped him. Akk used to constantly get into fights with other students. They always treated him differently since he was a country boy.
"I hate him because he always made our parents' life difficult. It was always about him." Akk said." He only cares about himself. He's a shitty person."
"Akk if we want to get technical you were also a shitty person at one point," Ayan said." To my knowledge, your brother didn't almost hit people with a car."
Akk glared at Ayan. He hated what he had done to uphold Suppalo's rules. At the time he didn't think it was wrong but after meeting Ayan he changed for the better.
"You said you'd never bring that up," Akk said as he got up and walked to the other side of the room.
Ayan shrugged a little before walking to Akk. He gently took a hold of Akk's hands.
"You should give your brother a chance. Maybe he changed." Ayan said.
Akk just yanked his hands free before glaring at Ayan. He never wanted to see his brother. He hated everything about Yok. From his smoking to his constant rude attitude. He hated how Yok never tried in school and how all he focused on was his art. He hated how Yok always taunted him for doing everything he was told to.
"What choice do I have? You invited him here. I only have one week to mentally prepare for his shit." Akk muttered." I'm going to bed. Don't try to cuddle me. I'm mad at you."
Akk hurriedly climbed into bed and hide under the covers. Only when his face was hidden did he let himself start crying. As much as Akk hated Yok he still cared for him. He remembered the day he saw posts online of Yok after he nearly got killed. Akk had seen the picture of Yok with his group. He saw people's comments about him breaking into Tawi's factory.
"When Yok comes here and he starts problems I'm going to say I told you so," Akk said in a shaky voice.

Yok was sitting in the garage with White and Gram when Ayan answered the phone. He was so shocked that his call was answered but regardless he talked to Ayan for a while before the call was suddenly dropped. Not long after the call ended he got a text from Ayan with the address to Akk's place. He was so scared to show up. He was certain Akk hated his guts.
"So next week you will be going to see your brother who you haven't seen in years?" Gram asked.
"Yeah. Either his friend or boyfriend invited me. He didn't say who he was to my dear little brother." Yok said as he lit his cigarette.
Yok had always wondered what his brother had been up to. He tried for years to stay in contact with Akk. He texted and called but Akk ignored him. Yok knew he was to blame for that. Growing up he wasn't the nicest brother. Back then Yok would often convince Akk to do something reckless.
He remembered when he convinced Akk to go climb the slippery rocks on the beach. Akk ended up slipping and cracking his forehead open. They were only around 10 and 6 then. Yok ended up having to help Akk get home. Their parents were so furious with Yok. He tried to lie and say they were just playing but Akk told them what really happened and his parent believed him.
"Akk has always been my parents' favorite. He could do no wrong." Yok began." Even in grade school when he'd get into fights I was always blamed. They swore up and down that I was a bad influence."
"So why bother going to visit him? Why bother trying to keep in contact when he clearly hates you." Gram said.
Yok sighed as he looked at the ground. He didn't know why he wanted to stay in contact with Akk. He was always compared to Akk in every way. The only thing Yok used to be praised for was his art. After a certain point in his life, his parents wanted him to give it up. Yok refused to and continued with his art until Akk took all the art supplies and destroyed them.
"I just have this feeling that we both need each other right now." Yok said quietly." I just feel like Akk is going through something big and he's not letting anyone help him."
